We used Burly Boyz Moving & Storage to move from southwestern Ontario to Edmonton. We found there was a personal touch which we haven’t had in previous cross country moves. They were spot on with communication and very professional. They were always available for questions and kept us informed about the move. There were no hidden prices and with such a great staff and pricing, we will be recommending them to our friends and family. Our move from Toronto to Victoria with Burly Boyz was a great experience from start to finish. Everybody was friendly and professional and helped minimize the stress in the whole venture. Elizabeth provided the estimate on the phone based on my description of the content walking from room to room. It turned out to be very accurate. We maintained good communication with her and Dawn throughout the process. They patiently answered questions and satisfied our requests. The crews on both sides lead by Marwin and Bektas were not only burly but also polite and accommodating. I would hire Burly Boyz again

The quote matched up with the end total fairly well, it was a couple grand more after fees and tax and what not
The person I spoke to on the phone initially, Milan, is why I chose to use burly boyz to move us cross country. He was very patient with my questions and took an inventory right over the phone. I would recommend burly boyz for a big move for sure

I hired Burly Boyz for my move/storage from Alberta to Ontario on June 14. They were 8 hours late on move day. Took them 19 days to give me a delivery date. No carpets were used at delivery. Part of my shipment was missing (left in storage), and to date parts of my shipment are still missing. Did not re-assemble items they had dis-assembled. Was… told that I could be given compensation, but their compensation is based on "industry standards and precedents" yet the general public are not aware of what these mythical "industry standards and precedents" are! Said they do not negotiate, yet

We used Burly boyz on mid April to move into a new house. During the process the boys actually did pretty good until they are trying to move the couch. During that time, they damaged 2 walls but didn’t tell us anything until we found out later. My husband talked to the company, they said they can’t do anything about it since we aren’t but… insurance. However, if we were going to buy insurance now ($200) then we will need to pay a deductible for $150.
We decided not use it , we ended up paid $600 for repair the walls.
In the end, the company doesn’t take any responsibility

Great experience with Burly Boyz on March 4! The move took a little longer than expected as I had WAY more boxes than I initially estimated when getting my quote. They were on time, very personable, and worked hard the entire time. Very professional, and I appreciated that they checked in here and there to be sure that I was happy with how things were going. Highly recommend!

Update: They emailed me after seeing this review and me sending a compliant email and they have ignored my response. They did nothing to resolve my dissatisfaction and my furniture is permanently damaged.
I do not recommend this moving company. I packed everything myself with blankets and protection and they still managed to damage several items, I had to work like one of the guys for them to actually work (taking smoke breaks and phone calls in paid time), and at the time of paying for the move they charged me more time than they actually spent! Did not answer to my email regarding this either

I had made a move from Edmonton to Toronto, and used this company. I got quotes from several different companies and chose to use Burly Boyz. The crew in Edmonton had wrapped everything with the thick moving blanket and did an amazing job. they estimated 7-28 days and they hit the timeline, with updates of what the statues was every week or so. Great communication. everything was documented and done very professionally. I had a move from Edmonton to Toronto with a full apartment of things, requiring storage for 4 months. I was moving by myself which felt pretty stressful and from the first email to the last, it felt like we were all doing it as a team.
They showed up exactly on time, the guys were super friendly and packed everything up for me. I basically just had to stay out of their way. Nothing but great things to say about this company!! Due to unfortunate events from a different moving company I had to give these guys a call last minute and hope for the best. I wish they were the first company I called!! Extremely professional and helpful every step of the way. I had a small amount of stuff to move from Edmonton to Toronto. The movers were polite and courteous. Floor runners were put down to keep the snow contained. They worked quickly and took the time to answer any questions I had to put me at ease about my move. The gentlemen showed up early at each end. Everything showed
