TEK Roofing Ltd began in 1990 under the joint partnership of Terry Kellogg and Bonnie Dreger-Kellogg as a full service roofing company, whose goal was to build a name solely upon a reputation for solid quality workmanship and friendly, always-accessible customer service. In 2015, having never advertised a day in our existence, we began our 25th year of service having achieved that goal!
Our contributions have included the replacement of all flat roofing membranes, the first of the replacement of some of the copper roofing, the architectural copper features, such as ornate bull-nose cornices, built-in gutters and replacement of the classic pinnacles. Then, in phase 4 we revamped the elegant retail signage and ornate cornice and sill details.
Formerly The Convent of the Sacred Heart - classic gothic revival architecture - was built as a day and boarding school for girls beginning in 1913. In May of 2011, a 4-year heritage restoration project began. We completely replaced the roofing and flashing components, including slate, modified SBS and shingles.
In 1912, B.T. Rogers, owner of Roger's Sugar, purchased this 10-acre parcel of land at 57th Avenue and Granville Street in Vancouver. After 12 years of construction and delays, this now class "A" Heritage site was finally completed. In 2014, we began the restoration on two of the heritage structures - the gatehouse and the coach house - by replacing the slate roofs and existing details.
