Services
The company has always specialized in commercial construction with the early years being marked by many successful projects for local school boards and the federal government. In 1998 Mr. Lafortune retired from a company that had evolved to focus on private clients specializing in commercial construction for organizations ranging from the LCBO to the Royal Bank.

This philosophy extends beyond the job site and reaches to all stakeholders within a project.
Robert Construction has a wealth of experience working with design-build projects. A typical Design/Build project allows the owner to deal with a single point of responsibility for the complete project. All design, engineering and construction is done by a team of design professionals working directly with Robert Construction as a single entity.
Under project management the owner works with the design team and we oversee the tendering process for sub-trades and manage the construction as the owners representative for a fee or percentage of the total building value. This method allows the owner to benefit from our experience and contacts within the industry while retaining control of the project and providing transparency regarding project costs.
