As youth, Cassidy and Gerald were both brought up in construction families. Cassidy spent much of her childhood on construction sites with her dad, often begging him to take her to work. She was very curious about the process of building homes and her abundance of questions sure showed that. On site, you could generally find her stacking lumber, helping to clean up the construction site or critiquing the inefficient layout of a home.
Cassidy wears many hats as President of 3rd Generation Homes including marketing, design, sales, customer care, project management, but none of these hats are as important as her Blue Jay's hat! Gerald, or Ger-bear as the crew calls him, is anything but soft when it comes to custom home design and construction.
We want you to be in the know - that's why we encourage continuing education for all employees. We cover the costs for workshops, training programs and any professional courses you may be interested in. There's always something further to learn and we're proud to support your education and growth. We want you to enjoy working for us - that's why we have several team gatherings and participate in many social events throughout the year.
At 3rd Generation Homes, we believe it's important to support the community that has continued to support us. The Gutsy Walk is a non-competitive and family friendly event that takes place every year, at over 60 locations across Canada. As the largest fundraiser for Chron's and colitis in Canada, the Gutsy Walk has raised over $35 million since 1996.
We're proud to work in partnership with some of the best organizations and businesses in the construction industry and our local community. We used 3rd Generation Homes to build our dream house on our property. It was a unique build as it needed to include the original, old farmhouse that was already on the property. The entire project turned out incredible and we are SO happy with it. Our project manager, Terry, was always responsive and communicative. Cassidy and Gerald did an amazing job at checking in and helping us to solve issues when they arose. We would 100% recommend 3rd Gen for a building project. Thank you Cassidy and Gerald for helping us put our vision to life!

We are a well respected and experienced trade supply for over 20 years. We recently did some work for 3rd Generation Homes in Kelowna.
We were very disappointed and found Gerald the owner to be inexperienced and highly unorganized. We felt like he is learning to build off the backs of his clients, costing the clients far more money, waste and time then he should have. It took months for his houses to be built as we tripped over each other and fought to get paid.
We felt very bad for the clients and their extra expenses incurred because of his mistakes and recommend having your house in Kelowna

I have worked for Gerald and his family for over 10 years. I have nothing but good things to say about 3rd Generation homes.
I have worked extensively all over Canada for large retail stores. I have over 38 years experience in the flooring industry. I have dealt with many contractors. Some very good and others not so good.
With out a doubt Gerald and his family are highly rated. Gerald expects a high level of workmanship from his trades. Is that really a bad thing?
He is always smiling, friendly and reasonable.
I am proud to be associated with Gerald and his family and hope to work with them
