I have been with Telsco for my home monitoring since 2009. A week ago I upgraded the system to reflect the new technology. The technician Telsco sent was 'Gaston.' He was pleasant to deal with, knew his stuff, and did a wonderful job cleaning up his workspace when the install was done. I particularly appreciated Gaston's patience with me (he had to teach an old dog new tricks) when explaining and installing the web based program on my phone. Gaston was 110% in my books.

I would not recommend using this company. The quote person showed up at incorrect time, promised a quote in 3 days - it took more than two weeks. The person did not seem to understand commercial systems. The quote was not even close to reasonable compared to other providers -it was more than 10 times higher in cost. I was able to have another provider quote, connect and set up all within the period of time just to get a quote - makes me wonder if they would even respond to an alarm situation or address issues.

We have been with Telsco for 5 years, never had an issue until now. We chose them based on their locality and price. However, this on-going experience has been extremely frustrating and is leaving a sour taste.
In August, our system began to continuously chime when the door is closed for 10-30 minutes. Eventually, it would stop but we cannot touch anything during this time because it is busy chiming.
A technician came to replace the chip. Unfortunately, this was a short term fix and the problem persisted.
Eventually, we just muted it because we were tired of calling and listening to it. At least

Switched from another security system to Telsco after doing a lot of research. They were very professional from the free quote, setting up a timely appointment and switching from my older security system. They handled the switch over very well and had me up and running with no issues. I like the time they spent going over the system, features and the online/app system. I really like that they are local and you can speak to a fellow Albertan. After the install they keep in touch with emails to make sure system is running and responded to questions promptly. Highly recommend them!

I had a new wireless system installed. A highly professional, friendly, efficient, first class service. The conversations with the office, the scheduling, confirmation, installation of the system - all exceeded my expectations. Chris the technician was punctual, always polite, clearly very skilled, explained clearly what was happening at each stage, very patient taking me through the computer program and set up, got the job done in the time allotted with no fuss and impeccable with cleaning up. I can’t recommend TELSCO highly enough.

My family has been with TELSCO for almost 30 years. We recently had our system upgraded. It was hassle free and uncomplicated. What prompted the upgrade was our smoke alarms were expired and needed replacing. From the phone call to upgrade the system to the technician visiting our home to do the install was easy and comfortable. They explained everything in detail and there were no surprises. I would highly recommend having TELSCO in your home or business. We use them for both. And since this is during a time of COVID, the technician used all measures to make it safe.

We've been with Telsco for over 3 decades and have always been extremely pleased with their services. Recently our alarm system required an upgrade and again, the service was excellent! The technician who installed the new equipment was professional, efficient and courteous. He was patient in answering our questions and explaining the new setup. We were away from home and received a phone call from Telsco saying that the main floor sensor alarm was breached. They asked us if they should send a car around. I told them no, as we have neighbors that monitor our home when we are away. I called the neighbors and they responded noting it was a false alarm. When we got home, we called Telsco… to see why this would happen. They said there could be many causes, but advised us that if we wished they could send a technician out to check out all the sensors to ensure they were working properly. We have only had our Telsco security system for a week but I had to give them 5 stars for an outstanding installation. The tech was very fussy about visual appearance and location of the various components plus he vacuumed up any dust and debris created by the installation process (extremely rare for most installations). He left extra wire for all of the hard wired sensors, neatly coiled and fastened up in the floor joists in the mechanical room (just in case something has to be moved in the future). His explanations of system operation were clear and he was patient with the questions we had for

Was very impress from the first day with our rep explaining the different options. Was not pressured to purchase, was left with things to look over and even told to compare with what others offered.
Installation took about 2 hours, but no complaints, as it was all done carefully with no damage to my house. The equipment is a bit more expensive than some companies, but the service makes up for it. I have called or e-mailed questions or concerns and they were answered promptly. And the monitoring is all local so that puts my mind at ease. I'm monitored for flooding, carbon monoxide and fire
