I’ll start by saying that Helping Hands staff and management are nice folks and it’s unfortunate that our concerns were not resolved. They were 2.5 hours late and kept changing their ETA. We had to move things ourselves and were not given a discount on the final fee.
For context, my partner booked Helping Hands for November 26 at 1pm. She paid a $500 safety deposit at her apartment to book the elevators and have a person watch over the front door (since they had to turn off front entrance security) until 5pm. The $500 has nothing to do with Helping Hands, but it gives context why this experience

Wonderful Movers! Needed help moving large pieces of furniture from a house to a condo within the city. The two men crew of Austin and Joseph did the job effortlessly, efficiently and were fast.
We had a large awkward sectional that would not fit through our front standard door the normal way but as experienced movers and maybe even magicians they somehow got it in?! Once they realized how heavy the sectional was, without hesitation they offered to set up the legs of the sectional before leaving as they knew it would be too difficult for my husband and I to lift and move around. I used their service to move from Edmonton to Calgary. They were very nice and professional. The only bad thing was that they accidentally broke an exit sign in the building, and to compensate they charged me one hour less than what they actually worked for.
Overall a great experience, and they're highly recommended.

Friendly movers, everything moved by them was in perfect shape, no damage. I called pretty much all the moving companies with good reviews to get a quote. These guys had by far the best price considering their reviews. I was very happy as well because I had to change my moving date very last minute and they did their best to find the time to move me. I really appreciated that.

Helping Hands was wonderful. They did a small office move for me on the hottest day of the year. They were very careful with all of my supplies and furniture, navigated challenging parking, and were friendly (and funny) throughout. Called helping hands on short notice, not only were they very professional but also prompt in regards to pick up time (they were actually early so big ups on that) also very organized and quick for dropping of the load to a 3rd floor apartment. 5 stars all around thank you very much Austine and Ron I will definitely be recommending your services and using them in my future needs.
