Chemical drain cleaning products are potentially harmful to our technicians as well as the environment, so we don't recommend their use. It is best to have a technician clear your drains when they start to slow down so a complete blockage does not occur.

They moved my furnace to the mechanical room in my basement. they had to cut through a wall (and didn't make a mess of the cut) and a few low hanging joists to level the venting across the house. they kept everything tight and high as I requested. plus solved a few other problems for me in the process.
I had problems getting other companies to come look at what I needed done, and if they did look at, they were not interested in the job. they were more interested in the simple jobs.

Trouble shooting HVAC noise and checked/provided professional advice about possible cause of furnace noise.
Manly and his staff are responsive to home heating, AC and HVAC concerns. He installed a new furnace in October 2021 and I was very pleased with the process from consultation to installation and trouble shooting any concerns I have. I would definitely recommend First Call Plumbing and Heating!

I wanted to replace my old AC and had also been told that my furnace needed replacement. After three quotes, First Call was the only company that didn’t try to up sell me. In fact, they recommended not replacing the furnace because there are still parts available and it can still be maintained.

Very Bad experience and service. I called for appointment in November they told me they are short staff but will book in the end of December or January first week and after i called twice for update and today i receive mail that We focus on residential plumbing and heating, and this falls more under the lines of commercial plumbing work. This should they told me when i went to book an appointment and wasted my 1.5 month. Totally Unprofessional.

I received the name from a friend of mine in Portage la Prairie for First Call Plumbing and Heating. I was looking to have a new furnace air conditioning system installed in our home I called spoke to them and the same afternoon they came out and had a look and chatted with me Manly the owner was very professional and answered all my questions and concerns and within one day he gave me my quotes on the total cost of the work that needed to be done can I decided to give them the business, now I'm just sitting waiting for them to get the install done and I hope everything will be great. During heat wave our A/C stopped working. We called First Call Plumbing and Heating. The receptionist was so kind and helpful. The scheduling was fast and the employee who came was so amazing !! He was very knowledgeable and kind to my mom. They found that we needed something topped up...leaving us with a home that was cooled right away !! I love the fact that they found the actual issue immediately and were able to fix it !! Their pricing is so amazing as well !! They are truly a trusted and knowledgeable company in my experience with them. And they will be our ‘First Call’ if we ever have

I recently had an issue with my air conditioning to which First Call was able to squeeze me in to assess the problem on the same day, when every other Brandon company couldn't come for at least 5 days. The employee, Claude, was so quick, efficient, and kind. He ordered the part we needed that same day, and conducted the install the following day. We will definitely be using First Call again if we need them!!
