Back in the 70's, Calvin Mitchell started building and framing homes in the Vancouver area. Throughout this time, he also discovered a love for working directly with the client. He worked in customer-facing roles that eventually led to a discovery - I can combine a love for building and renovations with a passion for serving clients.
Dean's main passion is to see the home renovation industry transformed for the better, by raising the bar at Canadian Renovations and through education to the homeowners. Just finished a kitchen and family room renovation with Dean and his crew at Canadian Renovations and we are thrilled with the results. The process was very straight forward and they made suggestions we would not have thought of. The finished product is beyond our expectations. Would recommend them for any renovation requirements.

I found Dean Mitchell , Very arrogant when having a phone conversation today about doing a
Condo renovation! He totally seemed uninterested when speaking to me , that I decided to end the conversation early. I definitely wouldn’t recommend dealing with this company if they’re going to treat a customer like this.

Working with Canadian Renovations was a pleasure. Every step of the process was professional and satisfying. We were spending a lot of money so obviously a person is a little tentative but without cause. The project was detailed and performed seamlessly.
I have my own company that works with design and large corporations so I have a very high standard. This Group satisfied us at every level. This was our first big home renovation and from the initial meeting with Dean we knew it was going to be the right fit. The whole process was so easy and professional throughout. From the design process with Cameron who was very patient while we locked in our choices to Corley keeping us up to date with the progress and communication to all of the amazing trades we could not be more thrilled with the end result and would use Canadian Renovations in any other projects we have and would refer them to any family and friends.

We underwent a major kitchen and sunroom renovation, with Dean and his Canadian Renovations team, in 2013. While it has been almost five years ago since our renovation, we still find ourselves standing in our new kitchen and sunroom, marveling at the outcome.

The company did an excellent job of renovating and modernising my kitchen, bathrooms and painting our townhouse. They are extremely reliable, honest and have outstanding work ethics. We noticed that they did not cut corners in any way. In fact, they went out of their way to ensure that the work was done to my satisfaction. They have been so friendly and helpful that we feel that we are part of their family. I would recommend them to anyone who expects high quality renovation to their place.

Terrific job from start to finish. They provided a very detailed "Project Binder" outlining every aspect of the renovation together with a guaranteed price contract. The job was completed within the time frame stipulated and the finished product that included a totally new kitchen, bathroom, hallway, and laundry room is magnificent. While we had our own ideas, Dean was extremely helpful in guiding us through the design phase. All areas not involved in the renovation were sealed off and/or protected.
