Services
Yard-At-A-Time Concrete is a family owned and operated ready-mix company specializing in concrete deliveries for homeowners and contractors. Centrally located off of River Road in Delta, British Columbia, we have been able to service much of the Lower Mainland since 1988. We are members of the BC Ready-Mixed Concrete Association as well as the Greater Vancouver Home Builders' Association.
We have qualified independent contractors that can provide you with a quote for their services. If you would prefer we can organize the removal, forming, supply and finishing of the concrete. Please ensure you specifically request for the One Price if you would like to choose this option. Our website also offers resources and practical tips for our clients who want to do it themselves.
While we are known for small deliveries, we have success in big commercial projects as well! Our current team has managed large pours upwards of 600m3 at sites such as Realco by Scott Road and 70 Ave, and Amson by 144 St and 72 Ave, and we are still growing. We have (one of) the best contractor rates for concrete, and we are very serious about delivering in a timely fashion with the 13 booster trucks we own.
Yard-At-A-Time Concrete's team of professionals specializes in residential Lower Mainland clients on a wide variety of jobs. Yes, we're known for offering ready mixed concrete delivery "one yard at a time, " but we also do much bigger jobs, too! Most importantly, Yard-At-A-Time is dedicated to providing only high quality concrete, because not all concrete is created equal.

Be careful using these guys….they quote you one price and then up charge you on the “Stand by” time. They insist on a hold on your credit card for $250 more than your order. They charge $2.50 a minute for the driver to take his time unloading the concrete and then apply it to your credit card……shady business!!

Called to get a quotation for a project in richmond, I provided dimensions of fence post holes that I required concrete for via email. Raj, replied via email and told me to call dispatch then I was told by him to calculate how much concrete i need on my own and to let them know how much is needed so they can give me a quotation. What a joke! PRO MIX CONCRETE gave me a quick response and i will use them for all future projects.

I am teaching a Workplace Math course at our school and we are building a storage shed for our primary campus. We are tying in all the math involved in a building project like this. Things like calculating volume of concrete. Our school is buying the shed for the full price cost of materials but we looked for donations or discounted materials. Any extra money we raised went to a building project for our sister school in Honduras. Yard at a Time graciously donated concrete and delivery in order to pour a pad for our shed. Thanks guys. That's almost $500 to the school in Honduras to help them after

One of this companies drivers drove into our townhouse complex and blocked the entry/exit with his truck. He was on his phone texting and when I signalled for him to please move forward so I can leave he starting yelling and swearing at me and told me I could pass him. He then looked out his rearview mirror and realized I couldn't get past him. This driver should not be driving a company vehicle.

I would not recommend this business unless you are very desperate and ready to pay more than what was quoted. I ordered a small quantity to be delivered and was quoted a price which I agreed to. The truck showed up on time but by the time we got the cement consistency right, it was almost 45 minutes later. To top it off, the last couple of barrels for some reason took some time as well. In the end, the delivery charge and waiting time for a small load was over 500. I contacted the supervisor numerous times to explain but nothing happened and is not getting back to me. This is an absolute rip off

The salesman "Don" was really helpful and tried to get me exactly what I needed. He helped me in figuring it out and was great. When the truck came with the load the driver really helped me out by being super accommodating and just made the job a lot easier by being generally helpful. Super guys and I got exactly what I needed.

We needed 2 cubic yards of fiber reinforced concrete for a back yard project, and Yard at a Time was just awesome to deal with. Their prices were very reasonable, they were helpful and knowledgeable, and delivered right on time, and we were able to pour two concrete pads in just under 30 minutes. I would highly recommend their services to anyone. I am very impressed.
