This is a great company, from the accurate estimate given by Rafael, to the coordination by the team leader, Kevin. The Burnaby Blacktop team onsite not only did a good job pouring the cement and setting the steps, but their finishing and sanding really gave the work a professional look. I contacted 6 different concrete companies to take on this job, only 5 showed up to do an estimate and as unbelievable as it may seem, only Burnaby Blacktop did a complete costing estimate.

We just had our driveway done. It was 40 years old and did have some areas that definitely needed replacing as well as some 'hills' starting to show. We expected to have to replace the whole driveway and did budget for it. After much researching and checking information and reviews and working with a neighbor, this company was our choice of contractor. It was recommended that instead of a full replacement, they could just replace the nasty areas and then do a resurface. The results are excellent and we could not be more pleased with it. Makes the curb appeal so much better.

An update to my earlier review (see below) - after several weeks, the owner responded with an apology for the poor communication and offered to redo the work. This time they did an excellent job and to my complete satisfaction.
Original Review: A small blacktop pathway job (8'x12'). Owner said that they have a minimum $1300 call-out fee but accepted $800 which was the same as two other quotes that I received. A tricky job that was handled well (I thought) - it required blending into an existing driveway and included working around a couple of utility covers. That job was done reasonably

This review is based on the customer service as I haven't gotten services done as of yet. I was calling on behalf of a client who was interested in upgrading their home and having some paving done. Rather than have the client call directly (they're a bit of a diva cookie) I felt that being the middle person would be easier communication wise for them to deal with directly.
Out of all the companies that I've called this was the only one that was patient and spent 20 minutes explaining the process and cost of different materials by square footage.
