Whatever your choice in flooring for your home or office, you want to protect your investment with the proper floor maintenance. Hardwood flooring requires little in day-to-day maintenance other than a simple dust mop with an approved cleaner. Avoid using a damp mop, as water will cause damage. Never use a vinyl or tile floor care product on hardwood flooring.
Regardless of your floors condition our expert craftsmen possess the skills needed to restore your floors natural character and beauty. Our advanced refinishing system employs high-powered vacuums, resulting in a much cleaner, healthier refinishing process. An average size floor of approximately 600-800 sq ft will typically take 3-5 days to complete.
Each species in the brands that we carry has its own distinct grain pattern, colour and hardness, giving you a multitude of choices to suit your own dcor tastes. Unlike unfinished hardwood that is sanded, stained and finish coated on site in your home, Prefinished hardwood has been sanded and finish coated at the factory.

After having our original hardwood floors severely dented and damaged after a delivery company rolled a fridge across them, we contacted Restoration Hardwood. From start to finish, Lee, Arek and his team were helpful, professional and hardworking. Our floors were finished within two days. Arek talked us through the process and was very accommodating to our animals. He was extremely knowledgable. All of the dents are gone and we are left with absolutely stunning floors now. I would not hesitate to recommend these guys to anyone!

Stunning result after restoring vintage parquet floor
After I discovered old parquet floor under a lackluster carpet I saw the potential but I didn't imagine it could be as stunning as it now is. I did my research and contacted three companies. Lee called me back right away and had answers to all my questions and offered additional helpful tips as well. His subsequent follow up email helped reassure me that this was the place to go to for expert service. They accommodated my scheduling needs and were communicative throughout the process. Lee and his team provided options and recommendations our original oak hardwood floor. The team were experienced and courteous while working at our home.
One unpredicted change occurred when the replacement wood needed was white oak not red oak as originally thought, but the team absorbed the cost and stayed true to their quote. This meant an extra days work but a better finished product.
We appreciated their honesty and diligence.

Lee and his team did a great job with our hardwoods. I asked 4 different companies for quotes and only got 2, Lee was the only one of the two who actually showed up on site and measured and answered questions. The whole process was as expected, but well done, and on time. I would recommend Restoration Hardwood Floors without hesitation.

Restoration Hardwood refinished our prior home (10 years ago), and did what we thought was a great job. Moving to a “new” home and a very neglected floor, Frank worked several minor miracles - finish, colour, attention to detail, etc - this man is awesome. Lee, Ignatio and Daniel did a great job refinishing my 50's oak floors.
All worked very hard and the result was a very professional job. Lee and Ignatio showed a good deal of refinish knowledge throughout the process. They were very polite and really wanted me, the customer, to be happy with the results.They delivered wonderful looking floors, on time and on budget.

Gee Murray, what part of my review is inaccurate? I did not suggest Lee had been with you for any particular time, or Devon. I disagree with Devon’s skill, as I expect you might, if you had cared to review the install and the refinishing. 2 ½ years later, after living with the mess 24/7 I was more familiar than you obviously can imagine. Several folks remarked on it, including Banner Carpets, who also install hardwood. “As bad a job as could be done’, was their assessment.
