From the beginning, the team at Flatout Flooring were incredible to work with. I had an at home quote done by Liz Smith and she was very attentive and knowledgeable in what I wanted to accomplish with my floors. I was able to visit the showroom where Liz also helped me find the perfect stain. Both Hugo and Aiden were amazing. Hugo was the main person who worked on my floor. Great customer, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I can’t rave enough about his work and I’m so happy with how it turned out. I will definitely be contacting them again for future work.

There is a good reason why Flatout Flooring has received so many awards for excellence. They removed our old ruined squeaky floors, and installed a new sub-floor and vinyl planking. They perfectly finished off all of the areas that required special attention to detail (like the edging around the fireplace hearth and curved stair landing, the intricate doorway moldings, the old vents that needed to be reduced in size to accommodate new vents, and covering our old basement stairs). Despite our old walls being neither square or straight, they managed to get the planks to line up flawlessly straight

I truly can't say enough good things about James at Flatout Flooring! I was installing a beveled tile which is very difficult to work with, and James made it look easy. He was professional, had such attention… to detail, and installed everything exactly how I envisioned. Amazing guy and amazing work! We had a Flatout Fantastic experience with Flatout Flooring when they came to refinish our hardwood floors in our commercial office space and install the ceramic tile in our bathrooms. The entire team at Flatout is knowledgeable, professional, hardworking and passionate about offering an incredible experience for their clients. Flatout Flooring was responsible for the flooring and tiling in my new construction apartment. Tom the owner took the time to talk to me about best solutions. The floor installer Mack worked tirelessly and made sure the job was done and done well. The tiling was done by Phil. His attention to detail and quality is among the best I have ever seen. I will use Flatout again without any hesitation.

The crew was great (obviously very experienced) and did a fantastic job refinishing my old floors. And, Liz Smith was so helpful in working with me to choose the right stain color to match the age of my house (1931) and later talking me through my last-minute decision panic! The grain of the wood just jumps out, and I love it. I felt very supported and could not be happier with the results.

We just had our maple floors refinished June 2019. The crew was professional, meticulous, hard working, and clean. The floors turned out amazing and changed the whole look of our house for the better. We would use Flatout again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them. Really appreciate the customer service from the office staff and can't say enough good things about the two gentlemen they sent to refinish the floors.

Flatout Flooring did a great job refinishing the strip oak flooring in my victorian home. They came to work on time and finished the work on schedule and on budget. I am always a bit picky about who I let work on my house and the quality that I expect, but Flatout Flooring met my expectations fully - I am very happy with the results.

We are extremely impressed by the product quality, installation (attention to detail) and professional service we received from Flat Out Flooring. We had vinyl plank flooring installed overtop of our worn hardwood floors. Not only does this product look and feel like natural wood, it is amazingly easy to keep clean.....and no more worries about water spills in the kitchen. The service from start to finish was outstanding and we would certainly recommend this company to anyone.

We first met Tom at the Home Show in January 2017 and were very impressed with his knowledge. Our job involved removing the old hardwood, screwing down the subfloors (I'm sure we could have won the prize for the squeakiest floors), and installing new. A specific date was set to start and a 2 week time frame was needed to have the house in livable… order. This was met with no problems. The team are professional, competent and respectful. They came and refinished our floors today and I couldn’t be happier. Their guys were super friendly and professional. They took the time to explain the issues with our extremely rough floor which was being refinished and I appreciated that. Unfortunately, I’ve had some bad experiences with other trades not speaking to me, a women, like an equal so I was very happy to have a conversation about the job being done!!!!
