That has been the primary goal of Steve Lukac, Glenwood's owner, since he ventured into tree care over 25 years ago. He literally started from the ground up, hauling wood and brush and working the ropes. In those years he also paid particular attention to the activities of the climber in the tree - to see what worked and, even more importantly, what didn't work.
At Glenwood we believe in harnessing the power and endurance of machinery to manage tree work with greater efficiency, ease and safety. 3 bucket trucks that allow our crews to increase production while working with maximum safety at heights. A crane truck with a knuckle boom arm that easily moves pieces of wood up to 4 tons in weight.
It isn't always an easy decision to remove your tree especially if it's been the pride of your property. Whether your tree is reaching the end of its life cycle, has died, become diseased or hazardous, sometimes tree removal is inevitable. Our crews have the skilled expertise and the right equipment to remove your tree safely and efficiently without causing damage to your property.
Hire us to remove your tree and we will take care of the permit or notification form paperwork at no additional cost other than the permit fees that are paid to the City. The diameter of the tree is the standard used by each city to determine whether a permit is required or not. Diameter of a tree is always reported as Diameter Breast Height or DBH.

I am very pleased with the tree trimming work that was done today. The crew was knowledgeable, very courteous and thorough with a great clean-up. I enjoyed watching them work safely and precisely.
