Maid Sense Environmental Cleaning was born in 1994 from my extensive experience in the cleaning business including 5 years managing a busy West Side cleaning service and several years hands-on experience.
Maid Sense Environmental Cleaning offers a self-directed cleaning service. What we mean by that is that we are happy to tailor the cleaning service to meet your needs. I would not recommend this company - my gentleman friend used this company for over a year and a half and fired them ,the 5th time something was stolen .from his place Quite the nerve considering he tipped the cleaner $10 each time . you cannot post a review with out using star rating - obviously 1 is not even appropriate .

Do not recommend. I hired this company to clean my very small apartment. The apartment was not clean following (floors and microwave still dirty; front of kitchen cabinets not cleaned; shelves not dusted; front of stainless steel fridge scratched all over). I contacted the owner several times via email before receiving a response. Jan replied with excuses as to why the apartment was in the above condition, with no attempts to resolve the situation. I again replied to further clarify but got no response.

Take your business elsewhere! I had a similar experience to others who have reviewed such as inconsistencies in pricing and terrible communication with the owner. She was always unprofessional and rude at times but I found the cleaning to be decent with some minor issues and the cleaners (although also inconsistent) to be friendly and do a decent job however I did not thoroughly inspect their work. They came about 4 times total and the last visit we had cameras installed at our front door (not to 'catch' the cleaners but for security). Jan Grue and her crew have been keeping our home sparkling for 2-1/2 years. And I do mean sparkling! We have ceramic tile floors and multiple hard surfaces that all need that special care to make them shine.
Jan's crew are well taught, thorough and efficient. In addition, they are cheerful. They like their job! It's a pleasure to have them in the house.
Jan herself has been most accommodating in scheduling. She is always able to make the most difficult request to change or rearrange times come to an agreeable conclusion.
