I called Hilltop on a suggestion from a neighbor. I had to call a couple times before I got a response. Never did answer my call. When he called back, he had his number blocked. Seriously, what business blocks their phone number when they call you back? He finally returned my call again. A week later. Sorry, if that’s the response I get when I’m trying to hire a person. What kind of response am I going to get if I have any issues after the fact?

Don't EVER use this company. They will leave a path of destruction just like a fire. They say they will trim/thin, but what they really mean is remove everything. Got carried away when trimming fruit trees, so much so, there was nothing left, so had to remove.
Worker first tried telling me the tree was bad, until I said no, because we it was full of fruit in summer. What was once beautiful landscaping, has been destroyed by this company.

My father hired them to cut down 3 trees in our backyard in Brampton. At first they seemed like nice people but they were very slow to finish the job. They showed up randomly in a period of 4 months. The last time they came, it was the day right before the Christmas holidays, only about 15% of the job was left and they said, they would come back when the snow melted to finish off trimming the trunk. So being nice and understanding that the workers wanted to spend time with their families for the holidays we agreed and withheld $100 from the total amount to give to them when they come back. Me and my mom just moved to Placerville. Our property had a lot of brush and trees that were dangerously leaning to power lines or growing dangerously close to the house. Our main concern was fire hazard so we decided to hire professionals to clear the property and build a defensible fire line. Hilltop did an amazing job clearing out the brush, cutting down and trimming large trees and disposing of branches. All the tree stumps were cleanly cut to the ground, all the branches were put through a chipper shredder, and upon our request they spread and mixed the chips with the soil using a tractor

We recently used the services of Hilltop Tree Care to help us manage our heavily treed property.They did a super job for us, taking down several large trees safely and efficiently. This company was pleasant to deal with and it is great to have experts take care of a dangerous situation. Super happy that my husband didn't try to do this himself! I would certainly use them again.
