We hired Quantum Geothermal because of a referral from our neighbours who had them install a geothermal system in their home about 7 years ago. Everything went well and we love that we are now heating our new house without using any natural gas. And with geothermal we don’t need to have an air conditioner outside. Very cool !

Where we live out in the country near Guelph we had only two choices for how to heat our new house. Propane or geothermal. It became obvious to us that geothermal was the way to go.

After I retired three years ago we started to make plans for our new retirement home. We found a great piece of land and bought it. We knew we wanted to build the house with geothermal because we didn’t want to have a propane furnace.
We talked around and after we did some research we found Quantum. We arranged a meeting and learned alot. They were people we trusted right away and we eventually hired them.

I had Quantum Geothermal install in my new build custom home in 2017. Brian Bates met with me several times at pre-construction, construction and installation and completion. He provided good advice and oversaw the complete geothermal process. We have enjoyed our first heating season with comfortable heat, and very reasonable electrical bills. We found Quantum Geothermal to be knowledgeable, reliable, trustworthy and thorough. We would not hesitate in recommending them.

We hired Quantum to install a 2 heat pump system in a new house with a total of 6 tons of vertical ground loop. The system was commissioned about a month ago and seems to work great. Brian had cautioned us that geothermal systems work slower than gas systems, however I was pleasantly surprised when we turned on the system the first time in around 0 deg outside temp. and the house (large) heated up to a comfortable temperature in just a few hours. Brian Bates has been a pleasure to work with - knowledgeable, responsive - a true gentleman.

Do NOT do business with this company. We contacted Brian Bates of Quantum Geothermal 3 years ago to replace the aging heat pump on our open loop ground source geothermal system. Brian recommended the ClimateMaster TE-072 (6 ton) heat pump, which we hired his company to supply and install. Within weeks of installation, we began to experience problems with this unit, and have had to contend with a litany of issues since. The system has failed to provide reliable heat and cooling, and has cost us thousands in repairs ($6000 this year alone). Quantum Geothermal relies on subcontractors

We had a great experience with Quantum Geothermal. Brian gave us the information we needed to make an informed decision. He is extremely helpful and very professional. I am very detail oriented person and we had several meetings discussing advantages of the geo system and design. He planned and scheduled our install of geothermal system for newly build house and did everything to fit the work to our schedule. I have got system installed for my new house in 2016. It was a long and fairly complicated project. Nothing always goes perfect at the construction and mine was not an exception. Quantum Geothermal turned out to be ready for the challenge though. They managed to connect with my otherwise very concerned neighbours making the most dirty, noisy and lengthy digging part went trouble free. I got problem with damaged pipe work by other contractors and it was fixed very timely and with the quality. Brian could manage and maintain good and productive relationships with other contractors. We had our geothermal unit installed by Quantum Geothermal back in February of 2012. Best decision we ever made! We live in a rural area in Burlington and Union Gas will not run has to our area. We were living with an old oil furnace and spending, in our first year $800 every 3 weeks. Our geothermal unit has greatly reduced our costs.
Dealing with Brian (owner) was and continues to be a pleasure. Brian is well informed and has addressed any and all questions.
