Peter Hughes started from humble beginnings in 1973. With just an old Chevy, a borrowed trailer, and his father's lawnmower, Peter maintained yards throughout the summer for family, friends, and neighbors. Peter is proud to say that he continues to execute the same family oriented approach to his business today.

PH did a total revamp of our Sundance home's front & backyard a few years ago. They were excellent then. We have since moved and were thrilled to find out that PH is doing all the landscaping in our new neighbourhood (Yorkville, by Mattamy Homes). The service is still the same: EXCELLENT! Foreman "Danny" went above & beyond, asking if we needed anything, offering to move a large pile of rocks in front of our house. Then when he found out what we were doing with the rocks, he quickly completed the job for us (which he didn't have to do). Danny is super accommodating, helpful, and a great communicator

We had Peter Hughes Landscaping design our large, corner lot front yard and they did a beautiful job implementing an artistic design within our budget. Everyone was professional and worked hard to bring about a beautiful end result of two colours of rock, shrubs, grasses and boulders. Only reason for not giving five stars is that a couple of the shrubs were not in the best shape when they arrived.

Don’t be mislead by this company’s reviews. AVOID THE HEADACHE!!! Worked for this company for the better part of the last 3 years and I would NEVER recommend their services to anyone. Quality of work has consistently gone downhill. Jobs often completed incorrectly, leading to settlement and water drainage issues. Big emphasis on just getting things done so owner Peter can invoice the customer. Also big emphasis on ignoring things you know are going to be an issue for the home owner. With hopes to avoid correcting the issues keeping his costs down. Only to fix those same issues once the home

These guys are top notch,professional year round Landscape/snow removal company!
There employees are very friendly,professional,hardworking group of girls and guys!
Really impressed with the outcome both summer, and winter! I like that I can depend on them for both our industrial yard and then our personal homes as well.

Fantastic team, fantastic job!
We recently had our front yard landscaped by Peter Hughes. Every member of their team was polite and genuinely nice to deal with. The job was completed on time and for the price quoted. We were kept in the loop by the project manager every step of the way, and the site was left immaculate every night throughout. The project manager was professional and knowledgeable, he answered all of our questions patiently and gave instructions for ongoing care. Our install was completed during a heat wave, and we were visited again to make sure the grass was doing well. I feel

I am writing to say this is the first time we have used a landscaping company. After research and many meetings, we decided to go with Peter Hughes.
There is not an ounce of disappointment in the end result. The staff is meticulous, dedicated, committed, and outstanding. I would like to thank Jayden for allowing us to be a part of our remodeling. Peter Hughes Landscape is a well-run, and very knowledgeable company that has been around for a very long time for a reason. They did an amazing job on my yard, and continue to maintain it in the same form. They really do know what they are doing on the landscaping side of things as well as on the construction side.
