With only one machine, a limited amount of tools, a friendly smile, and his own two hands, he built the company into what it is today. I have had a great experience with HoeDown Excavating. After I discovered water ingress into my basement guest suite, I called Tim at HoeDown. Tim came to the house quickly, and spent a good amount of time thoroughly assessing possible repairs.
When the situation worsened the following day, Tim sent down Kelly and Serena to begin the remediation work immediately. They carefully dug up one side of the house and assessed the damage. After they knew what they were dealing with, Tim send me a detailed estimate and explained the avenues I could pursue.

We are totally thrilled with the work Hoedown has done for us on our steeply sloped property! Tim, the owner, is efficient and fair and willing to listen and consider all possibilities for the best solutions. It is a top notch family owned local business with professional and highly skilled people on their crews. Hired them because of water issues in the garage. They replaced the drain tile around the garage plus delta membrane which helped but there is still issues with water seeping into the garage. To their credit when they found out what the problem they tried to fix it it. When that didn't work
i was told that it wasn't their area of expertise and it is now my responsibility.

We have used Hoedown for two projects now, one smaller and one larger one. Both projects were completed as promised with no issues. Their staff are great, friendly and professional. Both quotes came in slightly below their quotes which was great. Will use them again and would recommend for any excavating/drainage projects.
