Pruning is excellent for a tree's health and aethetics, which makes it our favourite and best service offering. We do structural, ornamental, target pruning and crown thining. Topping trees is not a practice proper Arborists do anymore, so be careful of anyone recommending this to you. No spurs are ever worn on a tree that isn't being removed.

My experience with Black Mamba Tree Services this week was fantastic. Work started at the time promised, Gordon and crew were amazing. They are highly skilled. I watched the team work and interact with each other and was very impressed at how they rushed forward to help each other and ensure that the work proceeded as quickly, efficiently and safely as it possibly could. They really cared about helping each other, and there were no slackers holding back. The job they did was absolutely amazing. I cannot praise them enough. They also gave me a very good price. They left the site cleaner than it

Gordon, Arborist and owner of Black Mamba Tree Services was highly recommended by 2 other Arborists . Our tall Sitka Spruce needed to come down. Shortly after getting city approval, Gordon came and we discussed different options. He gave us reasonable quotes for each option. We hired Black Mamba for the job. We requested a few minor changes while work was in progress - Gordon was flexible and very accommodating. In summary, we found Gordon and his crew to be highly professional. We're very pleased.

Gordon and his team were amazing: so skilled, hard working, efficient and honest. We were given a tree viability assessment and removal estimate beforehand of a very tall and dangerous backyard pine tree. They scheduled a date, completed the work in a timely and safe manner, and cleaned up afterwards. Watching the arborist working so high up was true entertainment as well!!

These guys are great. Not only were they expert in falling, dropping this large Fir tree exactly on target, but they efficiently removed all the branches and bucked up the rest - into more bite-size pieces. They finished by chipping all the limbs, raking up all the tree debris and finally, power blowing the site clean - hauling everything off. They left the entire area neater and cleaner than they had found it.

We were hit in Feb 2019 by the same storm that shut down the ferries and decimated Sewell's Marina in Horseshoe Bay along with much of the coast. 3 very large fir trees were uprooted 15ft from our house and were hung up at a 30 degree incline threatening serious damage with the next big wind. Gordon and his crew came in and were surgical in their approach laying these trees down precisely avoiding any structural damage. We have employed many tree services over our 40 years on Bowen Island so we had some first hand knowledge of the challenge. They were calm, cautious and calculated and very efficient
