We make our own stains in our in-house lab, ensuring control of consistent composition and quality.

In Montalco's 60 000 square-foot factory, there are upwards of 15 machines. These include auto-sanders, dowelling machines, CNC, panel saws and everything involved in the staining process, including four open paint booths and one closed booth.
Our state-of-the-art flat line machine uses the most advanced technology in British Columbia. British Columbia's most advanced flat line machine of its kind is found at Montalco's factory. The machine coats every door with a clear coating, in seventeen minutes flat.

All the material we use is in compliance with the California Phase 1 and Phase 2 Formaldehyde Emission Standards, which are the most stringent in North America. Montalco has also embraced the California Air Resources Board (CARB) production standard - the toughest in the world for formaldehyde emissions from composite wood products.
