Stay away from this company! They break items and/or cause damage and do not make amends. Always a reason it is not their fault. On the rare occasion that they do admit fault they offer "free" extra time the next visit. What a scam. We already pay them to clean the house. What good is an extra half an hour? Either they are not performing the service we pay for or the extra half hour is of no value. Aaron is a bit of a weasel, just look at his responses to other complaints and you will learn all you need to know about this company and it's ownership group. I am sure he will even try to say that

First time I used a Maid for a Day was for a move out clean. My rented house was old and very outdated. The cleaners came in on time, friendly, and started to work immediately after they arrived. My house was cleaned better than when I first moved in. I even thought my walls were always beige, turns out they were white!

I have used Maid for a Day for over 15 years. They do a spectacular job of cleaning, every time to the same high standard. They even have quality control inspectors who make sure the job is being done right. In the 15 years, I have only had two small problems, both of which were fixed happily and quickly.

I’ve been a client of A Maid for a Day for over eight years and have no hesitation recommending them to anyone. There’s nothing better than coming home to a sparking clean house after they’ve been in for a regular cleaning. Professional, with great communication about policies and processes but also always working to accommodate you when changes come up. Great service!

We had Maid for a Day come into our home yesterday for a first clean with the hopes of regular service. When I walked through the door I went WOW! My wife came home shortly after and was equally impressed. Everything was organized, neat and CLEAN.
I called there office today and shared with Lynn how pleased we were and to share our pleasure with the crew. She assured me the team would be posted on their wall of fame.

I did read all the reviews for this company and thought I'd have my own experience and express my own opinion. I was referred to this company by an aqqantance. She had spoken quite highly of this maid service and has had them service her home for a few years now. My regular maid service just wasn't doing it for me anymore, so I had decided to try "A Maid for a Day". I absolutely appreciated everything I had experienced from them, and how effieciant they were. I had stressed upon the office, talking to Lynn and Vanessa, specific things I needed attention to and the team followed through with it

I hired A Maid For A Day to help out my wife after our second child was born almost 3 years ago with the plan of having them come to clean our home every week for 3 months. After the 3 months were up we had become so spoiled with the service that we have continued on every 2 weeks ever since. We can always depend on the girls to show up when they are supposed to and do a great job. They are very friendly and so accommodating when we need to switch things up a bit. We have been extremely happy with the service and in our opinion are by far the best house cleaners around.

I completely agree with the other reviewers. We used this company for 3 months and finally told them to not come back. They were very inconsistent with how things were cleaned and were very expensive, they charged us $500/month for 2 visits. They were very rough with our house, to the point that we would have to go around straightening our art work and looking for what was broken. The final straw was when they ruined one of our pieces of art that was not hug up yet in our dining room. They took the room freshener out of the wall socket and put it down on picture that was on the dining room

I was told that it would take 2 hours to clean my 900sq ft house. If the cleaners went over/under, they were gonna notify me. When I got home, I found they only did half the house. Charges remained the same and no call was received. When I called they told me that i told them "not to do the basement". Which I never did. So my 2hr 900sq ft job turned into a 2hr 450sq ft job - and the price stayed the same!!!!! Now, if I was a slob with excessive mess, I might believe that. However, I live alone and keep my house tidy - the biggest job was the bathroom.

There is no consistency with the service. We leave a lockbox outside our condo (there's usually 10 different ones there) so easy to find, with our name on it. 4 different times they had trouble finding the lockbox, calling us numerous times at work saying the lock box was nowhere to be found. Once, they even said they found the lockbox wide open with no key inside (which was frigtening all together).
The cleaning is not very thorough either, there is always dust under our bed and in corners, our belongings are always moved and not how they found it, and even with notes left they don't

They were unable to send the same crew each week so there was no continuity. Additionally, they were very very rough on our belongings. The broke a lazy susan in my kitchen and did not tell me. They also dragged expensive speakers (that they had been told multiple times not to touch) across our hardwood floors - and scratched them. They also moved everything around. When I have maids in, I expect the house to look reasonably the same except cleaner - not with everything moved around.
