Green Drop has truly made my yard beautiful. It began with my lawn which was 70% weeds, and I was considering buying new sod and starting fresh. After only one season, green drop's product was able to not only save it, but make it into a great lawn! I have added services each year with the same experiences!
A big thank you to Terry, Tyler, Drake, and Mitch for removing a diseased tree from my backyard in a day and a half. Special shout out to Terry for his acrobatic strength and bravery maneuvering around and sometime hanging upside down in the tree cutting it down. Great job guys! I have been using this service for a few years now and no longer spend my beautiful summer days picking dandelions, which even after I was on my hands and knees for hours doing a tiny patch, they were back even worse the next day. It is a very fair price for the time saved which allows me to enjoy my yard.
Kyle and the crew in Saskatoon are top notch, the care Kyle puts in to help out ME is above and beyond. If you want green grass, and tons of care, phone him. You will not be disappointed. These people do not care! I do not recommend using their services. My lawn looks horrible with many dead grass areas & weeds. I tried calling to complain, but their phone was not answering. I sent several complaints including using the on-line help chat along with emails & did not get the response I was promised.
I was promised the supervisor would come out to make an assessment on what is causing many dead spots and make an improvement plan. He never showed up at all!!! NO communication after my complaints and call for someone with decent lawn care knowledge to evaluate the many dead

I wanted to say Thank You to Edwin, Terry, Martin, Nate, James, Johnny, Dakota and Justin they did a fantastic job this morning removing a huge tree in my back yard, they cleaned up everything as if that tree was almost never there. Thank you so much for the terrific work, they were done in the time they said it would take, they showed up at the right time, and they put all the stuff back that they had to move to do the job. A crew came to Garfield St. S. yesterday on behalf of the City of Winnipeg to remove 3 more of the block’s once majestic, century old elms - sadly they were Dutch Elm Diseased.
They were very efficient and did a good job. I think it took them 4.5 hours - amazing.
Brandon & Jacob did an outstanding job cleaning up debris on my boulevard and road.
The crew members I spoke with were very personable.

The Green Drop Tree Crew was outside of our apartment building on River Avenue last week, Wednesday August 25. They were removing a couple boulevard trees for DED - Dutch Elm Disease.
The crew was very professional and efficient. The one arborist that I talked to - Oliver Beach-Yeo - was very helpful and informative with the questions we had regarding the equipment being used and just general safety concerns. We also talked briefly about contacting the City of Winnipeg regarding re-planting possibilities. 5/5 !

Don and Breann were very professional and answered all my nerdy questions without judgment— they are eager tree lovers as am I and were more than willing to explain and listen!!…they vaccinated my two huge elms which from arrival and prep work to the IV inoculation to clean up was just over 4 hours—I even got vaccination tags on my trees!😁

At the end of May, the Green Drop Tree team of Edwin, Amy, Terry, and James planted our first backyard tree, a Starlite Crab. Very professional and fast. On June 25 a different team returned to plant two Ruby Slipper Amur Maples...Oliver, Devon, Nate, Tyler, Jordan, Brandon & Thomas. As you would expect with a team of this size, the job was done in no time flat, along with clean-up. They were very accommodating, in that the fellows installed our prepared lawn edging to border the holes, which is a requirement of our condo corp. Vesper sparrows are enjoying our new trees already. The Green Drop Team of Edwin, Amy, Tyler, Eoin, Cam and Micah worked in our yard this afternoon to remove two very large ash trees that were healthy but that had become hazardous as one had gotten so big that it had begun to rub against our house when it was windy and the other was leaning at quite an angle over our neighbour's house. The removal of the tree next to our house was tricky as the tree was growing through a deck that we hoped could be saved. The team did a fantastic job of removing the two trees in a very efficient and safe manner, and without damage to the remaining deck. Clean up

They removed 3 large old trees at the end of their lives (using a grapple truck), 3 smaller trees plus about 10 stumps. Great crew...,professional, efficient, friendly. Above and beyond tree removal! Terry, James, Johnny and Thomas exceeded expectations. After recent landscaping they took care to work around patio and gardens. Skilled in their trade they made quick work of the large tree in our back yard. In the process they took attention to detail and removed and replaced our solar lights to prevent damaging them. Basically had left the yard in a better state prior to their arrival. We had asked to leave the stump in a tiered fashion. Terry was happy to oblige. Amazing job fellas!

I have used them for years and decided to try the mosquito guard. This is the first time I have been able to use my patio. It has been great! I was at neighbors and got attacked. I went back to my yard and no mosquitos. I always deal with Britany and she is quick to respond to my emails. If I see weeds she will schedule a respray I know living by a field and forest preserve has its challenges but my yard looks. Thank you Britany

I called Green Drop on June 19th to start service. I prepaid for the season and was told 3-5 business days until they came out for their first spray. It's been FIVE weeks and they never came. I called every week inquiring and was assured each time that they would be out the following day. They had no problem going to my neighbors in that time frame and servicing their yard. I ended up calling them to cancel and to get a refund on my money.. i was yelled at and argued with by the female employee. I requested to speak to the manager. I was forwarded to Kyles voicemail. Doesn't even deserve the one star rating. I paid in full for a lawn care package and no one came out. They sent two emails stating I would be serviced the following day and nothing!! I called to inquire and they kindly told me " someone was coming out today". And you guessed it....nothing. Needless to say I cancelled my package. Very poor customer service.

If you like to call every six weeks and remind these guys you are due for a treatment then this company is for you! Only reason I gave two stars is my grass is actually decent after treatment, did see a few weeds pop up in between applications though and trying to get someone out about that is like pulling teeth.

Wow. Not sure where to start. After them harassing me for a couple weeks, I decided to use them for my rental property since no one will convince me to leave Scott's Lawncare. After signing up on a Sunday with Tim, I got charged 2 days later without an application. First time I've been charged before the application (been with True Green and Scotts). Then on Wednesday I got a call to be told they would apply on Thursday (I had to initiate the calling to find out if they applied). Didn't happen. Friday? Nope. Should be called brown drop. Nice people, no complaints there. However, our guy came out during the rain the first time we started our service and the fertilizer clumped and we had at least six spots (a few fairly big) that were burned in the lawn. He did kill all the weeds, but now we have a few 4 foot patches of dead grass. Around our trees where there was once green grass its dead. They said they would take care of the problem one way or another but nothing was done. Before I wrote any reviews I asked the local owner/manager what could be done in September. during the first treatment, the spray vehicle left big ruts in our rear lawn, and the grass did not grow back. i requested hand spraying, which they have now been doing.
the second issue is the overwhelming amount of crab grass that has popped up. when the technician was here the other day, it was impossible for him not to notice it. wouldn't it have been a good idea for him to report it to kyle? finally, i emailed kyle myself, and he promptly returned my message, and promised to have someone

We tried all the main companies for years and our lawn never seemed to look as good as others. Then these little white trucks with this big green drop on the roof started driving through the neighborhood and I decided to give them a try. They are not the cheapest by any means, but they are with in range of the others. My grass has never been greener. I'm not sure exactly what they use, but it is candy to my lawn.

Our lawn was an embarrassment to the block. SERIOUSLY. We are a natural sort of family and the idea of chemicals on our lawn wasn't good. That said, our lawn had barely any actual grass, huge prickly weeds were everywhere, and although 3 year olds were pretty excited about our "yard full of wishes", and there were always hunts for 4 leaf clovers, I was pretty sure our neighbors were dangerously close to taking up a collection for our lawn service.
