Duro Construction Ltd. was incorporated in Squamish, British Columbia in 1975 by Ueli Liechti.
For over 40 years, we have worked on a range of projects, such as rail and road bridges, water reservoirs, sewer and water treatment plants, water intakes, fish ladders, soil anchors, tie-back retaining walls, precast buildings, tilt-up buildings, independent hydroelectric power plants, municipal infrastructure, ski lifts, gondolas, road building, river diversions, tunnel forming, blasting, windmill foundations, and subdivisions.
From 2014 to 2017, Duro worked on the BC Hydro Ruskin Dam upgrade providing construction management services for the drilling and anchoring contractor, Kani Foundation Technologies Inc.We are currently working at the decommissioned copper mine in Britannia Beach. In 2017, we began relocating heritage buildings onto new concrete foundations.
