Kevin began working as an estimator at Kawartha Karpet & Tile, then worked his way up to become partner and eventually took over the business and expanded to 5 stores! In the rare moments he's not working you can find him stand-up paddle boarding on a local lake. Doug started as an installer and moved into the estimating side of the business.
He has been involved off and on with flooring for over 40 years and has been managing the store since Kevin purchased it when it was known as Intercity Flooring. Patrick grew up in the Belleville area and enjoys meeting the close knit residents and helping them with their flooring projects. He started at Floortrends as a Floor Salesperson and is now an Estimator.
Patrick and his wife have a young son and daughter and are die hard Blue Jays fans. Alan brings 6 years of retail experience in a Management role to Floortrends. He enjoys helping customers on projects ranging from a simple entrance way up to a full home remodel, and everything in between.

Had a great install for a home office. All the work quoted was done on time for the agreed price. Staff were very helpful in the store, and they didn't charge for the quote visit which was nice. The installer was Ghandi, and he was very friendly, professional, and stayed late to make sure the job was all done in the same day. Couldn't ask for more.

Richard and Ryan do it again! The first time I got lucky and Cameron at Floortrends Bowmanville sent me his best team to remove and lay new carpet on stairs. They did such an amazing job with attention to detail and the extra touches that make it an extra-good job. This time I used Floortrends for new flooring in my basement and specifically asked for Richard and Ryan. It was a pleasure having them here and i'm so happy with their work once again. We have had a great experience at FloorTrends. We redid a room in our basement and Cameron helped us find a great floor within our budget. Because of that wonderful experience, we decided to get the basement stairs redone (very necessary!) and again, Cameron went above and beyond to help us complete that potentially expensive job within our budget and in a time efficient manner. Our installers, Richard and Ryan, were friendly, courteous and professional and did a fantastic job! We will be back at FloorTrends the next time we have ANY flooring needs! Thanks guys!!

From Nick, who patiently helped our multiple visits, to Cameron, who measured and answered all of our questions, and Richard and Ryan who came in and installed our floors and went above and beyond, we were thrilled with the entire process. I recommend Floortrends in Bowmanville to anyone looking to update their floors. We had laminate and carpet installed and we couldn't be happier with how it turned out. We needed our 2nd floor flooring replaced. Cameron at Floortrends in Bowmanville is the best. We told him what we wanted and he showed us what he had. Even gave us a few suggestions. Once the order arrived, the two installers, Ryan and Richard, did a fabulous job. They came in quiet as mice and went to work. They took great care in handling the material. The hardest part of our flooring replacement was the stairs. I picked a carpet with a pattern. R&R did such a professional job. The transition from the laminate flooring to the carpet is seamless. We had laminate put in our 3 bedrooms recently. We love the new floor and Richard and Ryan did an exceptional job. They were friendly, efficient and professional. They cleaned up nicely after too. Mike our estimator was also very good. He always replied right away to my emails and explained everything on how the job would be done. I recently had my entire main floor flooring redone by Floortrends (Bowmanville). The entire process start to finish was a great experience. Mike helped me choose a floor type which ended up being completely different then the idea I had set out with.
