Born in Shahmirzad, a lush region on the southern slopes of the Alborz Mountains in Iran, Naser was raised with a detailed experience in all aspects and procedures of rug making and following his traditional beliefs: rug weaving is an artistic expression used to represent certain cultural values and beliefs.In 1979, Naser opened his first retail store specializing in rugs in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
