Penfolds installed a new roof on my garage. Best roofing company I have ever used. From the initial estimate through the installation, they were all professional and true to their word. No bad surprises. The installers were extremely polite, worked efficiently and were careful not to damage plants surrounding the garage. They did an excellent job and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to others.

Penfolds was recommended to us by a friend. He was right. The quote was reasonable. The preparatory contact with Penfolds’ staff was good and gave us confidence. The crew was excellent and the follow up great. Overall it was a solid and rewarding experience. Basically, Penfolds did everything they were supposed to do when they were supposed to do… it and did it well. Any time we needed to contact them, they responded very quickly and with solid support. Couldn’t be happier with our new Penfolds roof. We had our shakes replaced with eco roof by Jason and his amazing crew. The work was done quickly, a month ahead of estimated time and on budget. We are return customers and would recommend Penfolds to anyone wanting a professional and efficient roofing experience.

Ours was a small job of about 200 sq ft on a flat roof terrace on Bowen Island BC. The job was set up professionally and in due course Penfolds turned up and did the job. Unfortunately they made a couple of errors. They spilled bitumen on to a deck and tried to cover it up with boards but, worse than that, they left the job with a large pooling area, where water collected and would not drain. Within two days I brought this to their attention. Two different inspectors turned up over the next six weeks, and both said the problem was real; it had been caused by the way they had done the work; it was

The Penfolds Team did an excellent job on the install of our skylight. Their workmanship and customer service had exceeded our expectation. When I requested that they paint the old flashing to match the color of the skylight frame they did it without any hesitation.

High winds, heavy rains, and unwelcome water in our dining room. Called Penfolds Roofing Vancouver early Tuesday and was encouraged by receptionist Tumi's attentive care and responsiveness.
Experienced and personable roofers Phil and Ian arrived next morning. They listened attentively, thoroughly inspected the leak area, attic and roof, and, in a few hours, scrupulously fixed the problem. We appreciate Penfold's employees in the office and on the roof; we applaud their prompt, efficient teamwork, industry and expertise. Thank you very much!

We called Penfolds because plumbing vents needed to be repaired in the roof they installed 8 years ago. They were very efficient and professional, did the repair on the same day we called. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Now we don't have to worry about our roof, as they did an excellent job. I highly recommend this company.

We had a raccoon damage our roof one evening. I called Penfolds the next morning and staff were extremely helpful and accommodating as it was forecast to rain that day. They fit in the work the same day, arrived promptly, repaired the damage and cleaned up. It doesn't even look like there was ever any damage. We used Penfolds 10 years ago to replace our roof and the quality of work and service has not changed in those 10 years.

Was extremely DISAPPOINTED and dumbfounded by the LACK of respect for personal property. BEYOND BAD. workers left numerous large scratches on our brand new deck railing, we talked to the general manager to say this is not acceptable and they sent a new crew. The new crew was NO better as they dinged and took chunks out of every step our brand new wood steps to the backyard. Workers left and did not even acknowledge us about the damage and we had to discover it ourselves. Workers used foul and offensive language while on the job and did not respect neighbours. The company also did NOT notify us

Had Penfolds install a steel seamed roof 7 years ago and then solar panels 4 years ago. Roof was installed on time, and on schedule. Solar panels took a while but definitely worth the wait. Both times the staff was very professional and kept me in the loop every step of the way.
They also did an excellent job sizing my panels for my house. With a slight change to my habits, I have not paid the electric bill in the last 2 years.
I would definitely install the panels and steel seamed roof again, if I had to do it again. (but hopefully not, since both are supposed to last quite long)

Penfolds helped us out in a small problem 6 years ago. Others had failed. When we needed a new roof in January this year we received a personal visit from their rep who took us through all the details (cost, timing materials).
The crew showed up on the first dry spell in February and had the whole project completed in 6 working days including our shed. One of their workers came on a Saturday and did a fantastic and creative job on that as well. We are very pleased also with the way the payments were handled. I would score 9 out of ten!

We had solar panels installed it took a long time but it was worth the wait. I cannot tell you how much our hydro bill will go down yet as it is too early.
I will give another review in a years time. So far we are still getting used to logging in and checking what are solar panels are doing, on sunny days everyones happy! Thanks Penfolds for your proffessionalism

We did our roof last year with Penfolds after our neighbours suggested the company. I start with the fact that our previous roof guaranteed 25 years was leaking big time after 15 and we needed to also replace some of the plywood. Penfolds manager did an estimate and was really pretty much correct. The job was completed efficiently and a year later no problems and it rained a lot. Our manager was Andrew Cameron. I wanted to thank Andrew Cameron specifically for always being there when I had questions. Maybe I had too many, I don't know, but I felt he was very responsive and always very informative

They executed the scope of work with high service standards and expert knowledge! Hats off to Mathew Barlett (Technical Advisor) and Cory (Installer) Cory was very knowledgeable helped explain roofing code for the air vents as well added assistants for access to AC contractor. Mathew provided great coordination and scheduling! Was most impressed that he even provided the names of the team that was going to be onsite. Great team to work and would recommend penfolds services again!
