Since moving into the Langley area, our newly bought house needed a fence. So we found these guys online and we bought our fence panels from them. I'm super happy with their product and now my yard looks great! When we went to their yard to pick out our panels, the staff was over the top friendly and we had a good experience overall, especially considering that the nation is going through the current crisis. This company hired really good workers who install the fence really well. The problem with Surrey Cedar is that after installation, once you got them all paid completely, they ignore your problem. This company is so unprofessional. Make sure if you get them to install your fence, check everything before you pay in full as they will ignore your problems after getting paid completely. It's been almost 2 weeks now since I asked to fix the wobbly fence post (due to about 2 inches gap from the siding wall and the post) and up to now this guy named Michael didn't even make effort to communicate. We had a deck built by Surrey Cedar 5 years ago and have had nothing but problems with it ever since. It was built by a crew from the island and we were told we could stain it right away. We have had it restained 3 times. The boards are loose and we just had someone come and give us a quote on re-secrewing the boards. He claims there were not enough screws put in to start with. We got hold of managememt at the time and were told they did'nt have time to come and look at the job. I see lots of positive remarks here, but, BUYER BEWARE!!

Long story short version of our review is to hire the subcontractors (in our case Eagle Fencing) instead of paying Surrey Cedar. Customer service is lacking at Surrey Cedar and even though their website states they don't use subcontractors, they do.
