I was impressed by the knowledge of the staff, in particular Rocky. He is very thorough, a master mechanic/technician and incredibly honest. My crew and I have been a regular for many years and Rocky is always willing to help and go the extra mile. No where else in the GTA will you get the personal attention and expert assistance that this family owned specialty shop can offer. Ask yourself which you prefer, anonymity from inexperienced kids at Home Depot or up-close and personal attention from Alpine Lawn and Garden.

Bought a Honda lawn mower few years back. It has auto choke, no priming required. After 2 years, there were instances failing to start up at start of season. Carried to Alpine, technician start it without problem at one or two pull but suggested to conduct a maintenance for $100 something. Brought it home, it fared well for the year. Next year, the same issue came up. After multiple pull, it worked again. Wonder if it is the flaw of auto-choke ICE lawn mower. Priming another older Briggs and Stratton just works. Ideally, performing the recommended after and before seasonal maintenance would keep

Took a lawnmower in for service. It took over a week for the technician to look at it. I called multiple times to see if ithe technician look at the lawnmower. It was on a Friday in the afternoon a sales Rep finally called me, stated the lawnmower is broken and cannot be fix. The technician charge $ 99.99 was just for look about 30 minutes. Because I called earlier and they didn't even look at the lawnmower. Horrible customer service, I will never use Apline Lawn & Garden Equipment again.

Alpine Lawn & Garden Repairs and Parts is great! They have every part imaginable for mowers and trimmers - even for antique equipment like mine. I not only got the part I had searched all over Toronto for but got it installed in a jiffy. Friendly and efficient staff that go above and beyond. A very well managed business!

I have been dealing with Alpine for 30 years.
I have never had a bad experience other than being more than welcome at every visit. Sometimes Dom, Pat and Rocky have been very busy and I have waited patiently for 20 minutes or so, while they served the others with the same professional manner as they serve me. Thanks.
People have asked me where I have bought my lawn and gardening equipment and I advise them to go to Alpine with confidence.
Service and sales are excellent.
Thank you Alpine for the many years of service and many more.

Called Alpine Lawn & Garden as I was instructed by Briggs and Stratton to contact a local dealer to assist with my issue. The person who answered the phone said they were a dealer but did not deal with issues, as the Briggs and Stratton website indicated they would. She did not even listen then said "Sorry" and hung up the phone. Unreal. Horrible customer service, only came across them on the Briggs and Stratton website.

My partner and I bought a secondhand Stihl 390 and brought it to this store to have it assessed and serviced. When we came to pick it up after a week we were told that the saw would not start and was essentially worthless. We were charged a $90 assessment fee and told we should buy a new one (they were having a sale). We brought the saw home and started the machine with little problem. We cleaned it and washed the filter. We then proceeded to use it in an Alaskan sawmill to mill six 8' logs of hard, honey locust trees. We are very happy we didn't follow the salesperson's advice to scrap the saw

Fantastic family run business. I own a house in Toronto on the Scarborough Bluffs so I have become an amateur landscaper due the nature of my backyard. Alpine has given me many tips and suggestions that have saved me time and money. The service and knowledge is incredible and Alpine always has time for in depth conversations regarding my lawn equipment. I needed an extension tube for my Stihl Blower Vac and instead of waiting for a delivery, Alpine took one off a new model in their showroom and gave me a fantastic price. If you have lawn equipment that you are not using, Alpine will sell at on

They do NOT service Toro equipment if you did not purchase it from their store. I bought a Toro lawn mower from another retailer and brought them the machine for warranty repair and they refused to look at. I am now taking my lawnmower to a competitor of theirs who is more than happy to work on Toro equipment.

Not recommended.
A trap company that's robbing money.
They charge you money even your tool hadn't been fixed. If you don't pay, you won't your tool back.
$230 for changing a spark plug...

Terrible store! I would give negative 5 rating if I can. Don’t ever go there. Misleading sales and manager/owner. Refused to repair my snowblower because it was not the season. That was not what a rep told me on phone a couple months ago. That was after I rented a van to get my snowblower there. Now I wasted my rental money. They did not even give me a referral for other shops. The owner was very rude and that was the worst customer service experience ever. Just bad human being all around. That place is a scam

I went in for warranty work on a Toro Snowblower. The unit still had 3 months left. The carb. was leaking while is was sitting. Runs perfectly fine. Service Manager told me that Toro would not cover the carb diagnostic and repair!! and that it would take 10 days to even have a look. Not what I was told when I phoned ahead. They told me they… would look at it while I wait. Took the blower to Stephens small engines for the warranty repair.....replaced the float bowl gasket. A 50 cent part. After sales service THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GET IT. A little bit of customer service goes a long way
