Mark is the best! He has worked for us 4 times now - when we had a problem with our furnace , air conditioner, switch box? (I don't know the correct name for the box hanging on the outer wall of the house that controls the electricity coming into the house) and the water heater. He was the only specialist who could find the problem. The first time we worked with him about a year ago, when our furnace stopped working and responding to the thermostat. Mark responded to my request for service on Homestars. He was able to come very quickly, which was appreciated since our baseboard heaters weren't working in winter. He replaced 2 thermostats and a faulty outlet. He provided professional advice on our heating system. He spent quite a bit of time here and waited while we purchased the correct thermostats for installation. The price he charged was quite reasonable. I would definitely use his services again.

On one of the coldest days in the year, my furnace decided to stop working. I reached out to Mark in the morning and he was able to make time for me to come diagnose the problem. Even though it was already 4pm, Mark offered to pick up the part and return in the evening to finish the installation so we would have a warm house to sleep in. We had an emergency situation with our gas, meaning we had no heat and no hot water in the middle of December because Enbridge shut off our main gas due to gas leak and left us a (WARNING TAG). We were unable to find a contractor to come visit to resolve the situation for us in a time frame that didn't involve us sitting in the cold with no hot water for few days. We called Mark of HouseDepot on a Sunday and he showed up at our door 2-3 hrs later and promptly fixed everything up to the point where we were able to turn our gas again. I wouldn't give one star since the actual work done by the junior electrician was very good and he was very helpful and professional. However, the actual project management by the boss in charge was one of the worst I have seen with regular delays in stated timelines, last minute notice that I needed to fix something instead of any kind of proactiveness to keep timelines on track, several useless upselling attempts, very last minute registration of the HVAC warranty (dependent on House Depot), and regular flip-flops in recommendations on the work to be done. These people are truly amazing! I had a power outage in my basement and they fixed it right away. I just sent them a picture of my breaker panel and the electrician knew right away how to fix the problem! Also, response time was very fast, prices are very good as well.

My 8-9yo AC stopped working and the only company that had a rapid respond and help was Home Depot. It was a real pleasure to deal with Mark, the owner of the company. He provided a exceptional, professional after hours service with very reasonable cost within one day of the my incident happened when no other company could offer.
