Picked up some lumber to make a simple homemade bedframe for my son heading back to Carleton University to live off campus. The team at Lake Scugog Lumber worked with my wife's plan and off we went to pickup the lumber. The yard staff we attentive upon our arrival and quickly escorted us to the proper piles of wood required. The staff member helping was going through the lumber to pick out the straightest boards with a smile on his face and some good hearted humour. We loaded up our truck and headed home satisfied and appreciative of the support provided. Not the first time we have had good service

Ordered wood for a 40x18 garage. Many of the sheets came absolutely destroyed by a forklift. Unfortunately I noticed after the driver left. I realized that the skid with all the lvl wood was stacked on the skid I needed for framing. I asked the driver to move it around and his response was "there's not much there, you can move it by hand" as he sits right in front of it with his fork lift. Poor wood, poor service. Wouldn't recommend.

Unfortunately due to the wind a couple of days ago my entire fence fell over at the side of my house. Since I am a side lot my entire yard was left open to the public. I don’t know the first thing about purchasing lumber or what materials would be needed to but thank goodness Randy took my call. He was extremely patient and went over every single detail and ensured I was ordering the appropriate material. I placed my order on a Friday and I spoke to Gary Monday morning who ensured I would receive my order by Monday afternoon. The delivery driver was exceptional. He loaded every single item into

Sent engineered drawings for a quote. They told me it could take up to 2 weeks. Never heard back or even a courtesy reply after 2 weeks. Called them to follow up and spoke to Jordan (to where I sent the email to) he was brief and little to no help. Said they were working on it and still to date (3 weeks have passed) and not even a reply...
Unfortunately they must be too busy or unable to process orders in proper waiting sequence.
Maybe I'll get a reply when the project is over and completed..

Terrible. I ordered and paid for trusses in full 8 weeks ago. I was told they would be 4 weeks. Trusses are still not built and I am running out of time. After this experience I will never deal with them again. They have no problem taking your money but are in no rush to give you a product that you have paid for.

The best. Easy to deal with. Fast and Easy to talk to. I dealt with adam and lisa. Great people. All wood i bought for my project came on time and everything was good quality. Buy from them for sure!!

Absolute worst customer service I have ever received. The lady that looks after bathroom vanities is the rudest person I ever felt with. That is the last purchase I will ever get from there. My contracting company does over 4 million a year, that is the last dime they will see!!!!
