Services
After my floors are installed, should I apply a finish coat to seal them from moisture getting down in the cracks? A. It is actually personal preference. They both have advantages. For example, if you want to match the existing woodwork, you may wish to go with unfinished so it can be stained to blend woodwork.

We were totally impressed with the service and support from the complete team. Their responsiveness was exemplary whenever they were called upon. We love the Vidar product we selected which was coached upon us from Edith and Margaret, thank you ladies! Let's not forget Arthur for his knowledge and expertise. We would strongly suggest you pay them a visit if contemplating flooring!

Great when the took payment for a $10k order. We had a finishing problem with the wood that Trafalgar hardwood wanted to ignore, and so did their distributor of the product (Brampton Hardwood) Disaster of an experience. Run as fast as you can from this place. After large amounts of follow-up, they sent the distributor to come deal with us after the product was installed. They were quick to blame our contractor, took zero accountability for anything. They did offer to come back and do some repairs (which were garbage repairs) I had to hire another hardwood contractor to come in and fix their screw

Experience in store was great.....until you get the product!! One carton was torn & there was damaged boards. We managed to use them as shorter boards & received a whole $5 discount off a transition piece. Went to return an unused box & were told because of Covid no returns. Nothing was said ahead of time, nothing on the counter stating this & nothing on the receipt. Emailed Margaret to see if manager would accept return & she ignored my email. Hence a not so great review!!

We spent 14months on a major Reno of our home so we had a lot of things to research and price out. When we met Margaret at Trafalgar Hardwood Flooring we knew we had found a great place to purchase from. She was so patient and attentive, offering advice at every turn. In the end, we could not thank her and Keith enough for their amazing service. As far as price went, she was more than competitive as we must have stopped into at least 6 hardwood flooring locations while shopping around. Save yourself some time and go see Margaret!

Margaret and Arthur at Trafalgar floors are simply the best. I had the most difficult time deciding which engineered hardwood to select, but the were very helpful and patient with me. Their showroom has tons of great samples to accommodate both high and low budget projects. They are knowledge about their products and they are more than willing to pull samples off the racks and explain the technicalities of the material. They really helped to guide me through the selection process and offered competitive pricing. I would definitely recommend visiting their showroom.

It was a pleasure dealing with Arthur and Margaret. Arthur did a fantastic job and helped us get the right type of hardwood floors that matched our life style and family needs. His crew was able to beautifully restain and update our stairs to match the new floors. Like art. Very clean and efficient.
