It was important for us to have our home redesigned in a manner that reflected our personal tastes and in a way that did not interrupt our lives. Ackard not only provided the design inspiration and top quality craftsmanship, but completed the job in the most timely manner, with minimal disruption.
Renovations that are straightforward and do not require major structural changes are welcomed by the Ackard Team. Our SPD (Specific Project Division) is geared to handle such projects with speed, accuracy and a great price with Ackard quality. We certainly do. We have interior designers, space designers, kitchen designers, and designers for additions and whole home transformations.
We have a strong belief in giving back and helping to make a difference in changing and improving lives. Our staff donates their skills, time, along with monetary donations to these following charities. Ackard staff have volunteered their time in doing much needed maintenance and repair at the hospice as well as supplying needed upgrades to the kitchen facilities.

Ackard did a whole house renovation for us in 2019 and we couldn’t have been happier – especially since we’ve been stuck in the house for the past two-years because of COVID! We chose Ackard because of their stellar reputation and they didn’t disappoint. From design to completion, they made the process easy and stress-free. We recently purchased a (non-Ackard) home and shortly after moving in, discovered pests and other potential problems with the integrity of the build. Knowing Ackard’s reputation, we contacted them for a consultation and were extremely impressed by their service. Richard first spent time on the phone with me, asking (and answering) all sorts of questions to get a better sense of what we were dealing with and then offered to come visit in-person to take a better look. Ackard Contractors did a full reno/rebuild of our 70+ year old 2 story home and it came with many challenges, some pretty significant. My experience with Ackard has far exceeded any expectations I had going through the process of designing/building a home. Ackard completed an addition/exterior renovation for us in 2020. It was a complicated job with structural changes, foundation work, exterior stairs/driveway and a large retaining wall. They did a fantastic job from start to finish. Everyone at Ackard was professional and a pleasure to work with. They were always available to answer any questions we had and the whole process was very transparent and straightforward.
