Operating since 2004, we provide Greater Victoria with a range of services, dealing with all aspects of residential, commercial and infrastructure drainage system replacement and servicing. With our staff of 48, we are constantly pushing the technological boundaries of drainage repair and maintenance.
Your home is an ecosystem, where every piece needs to be operating efficiently and reliably in order for your life to go on without stress or interruption. This means that even the most overlooked systems need to be monitored and maintained - including your sewer lines. Sewer lines are a critical part of your plumbing system, but they're also tasked with filtering a lot of waste.
In Victoria the diverse and spectacular natural environment is complemented by buildings that are full of character and variety - but while that is great for homeowners, it's not so great news for your plumbing systems. Both galvanized and copper piping systems have an expected service life of 40-60 years, and if not properly checked and maintained you risk erosion, leaks, and burst pipes.
Perimeter drain replacement is one of those big-ticket items you only need to do it once, but you definitely need to do it. At some point, you will need to replace the perimeter drain, and this is especially true if your home, like so many in Victoria, is an older build. We're lucky to have a large number of homes built anywhere from the 1920s to the 1930s, but all that character and heritage comes with a maintenance cost.

Being a home owner for over 30 years, I have had to call plumbing companies for various emergency services: the dubious and/or incompetent stories are plentiful. I remained sceptic when again I had to google drain/plumbing services for a backed up sewer. My choice was Victoria Drain and I finally scored a winner with this company: Laura was empathic to my plight and fit me in to a tight schedule; tech "Yumay" explained all necessary steps or options; was thorough and quick to resolve the problem. I had a great experience with Victoria Drains. They had come over to do our storm drain flushing and discovered that a few issues. They were able to quickly mobilize their team (in these busy times) and fix the problems at a reasonable cost. They kept me informed of issues as they discovered them, and provided options for me to choose from. The showed up when they said they would, the field crews were friendly and professional. They cleaned up after finishing the job. Highly recommended.

My mother hired this company. They did not complete clean up after doing their work which left her to clean it up herself. Our sidewalk was caked with mud and it took her hours to get clean. When she requested a discount for the lack of cleaning done by the company she received an extremely rude response from the owner. I would give 0/5 stars if I could, no business owner should speak to customers the way he spoke to her.

Outstanding service when selling my home with conditions being removed in 2 days and potential sale falling through. I needed urgent Rock Pit remediation!!! They immediately realised my predicament and pulled part of the crew on another job to assist and they completed a full repair with courteous professional service at a very fair price when I had not even had a quote as needs must. They did not take advantage of that either. Integrity is sometimes rare nowadays but WOW these guys pulled through.

I contacted Victoria drain services to assess the condition of my parameter drains. I choose this company because they were a local and I wanted a timely responce. My experience of the building trades in the Victoria area has not been great, even the price of the initial survey seemed a little excessive so my expectations were quite low. However I was pleasantly surprised at the timely appointment and very pleasant professional manner of the technician 'Orin'. The full camera survey was undertaken and the results recorded. Victoria Drain Services did a full replacement of the perimeter drains around my split level house. I was very happy with the work they did and how the entire project turned out. There were a few complications but they were well equipped to deal with it all. Russ, Gord, Shawn and Dave were knowledgeable, experienced, friendly and accommodating. I have a one year old and three year old so leaving the site safe and tidy every day was a top priority. Thanks again guys for a job well done!

I have been using Victoria Drain Services since 2014. We had a kitchen installed in the down stairs suite and moved our hot water tank to provide more space in the suite. Update 2017:
Terry and Tanner did an excellent job this week! I'm working on another house renovation, and needed a full replacement of the: Rainwater system, perimeter drains, and the lateral to the municipal connection. They did it all in less than 3 days! Even more importantly, the quality of their work is so good, that you have peace of mind, and passing inspections is not an issue. After everything is backfilled, you don't have any worries.
Same as with my last project, Victoria Drain Service is an excellent company to work with. Shawn managed the project from the start, and stayed in touch
