Here are things that you can do yourself to help make your heating, air conditioning and humidification systems work more efficiently and prevent unnecessary failures. You should have a routine to change or wash your furnace filters depending on the type of filter you are using. This should be set to the desired temperature for each season and allowed to operate automatically as needed.

After waiting months for service, A-1, a company that I had used for 22 years has ignored my multiple calls, excused themselves repeatedly and promised over and over to send someone out.
I finally gave up and hired someone else.
VERY DISAPPOINTED!!

New furnace guy specifically calls me to the basement and shows
me decades of dust that had collected in bottom of the furnace despite me paying every year to have the furnace serviced.
I feel ripped off and betrayed.

We had technician Sean come to do a cleaning and overall check of our AC and furnace. We are new homeowners, and neither had been checked in a few years. We are not very experienced in what to check for and how to maintain both a furnace and AC, and Sean was incredibly informative and helpful. We will continue to use them in the future and really appreciated his help.

My AC (installed by someone else) wasn’t working well. Eric came to quote for a new one. Instead he spent an hour and a half cleaning the old one, checking the settings, and making sure the whole system was good. At the end it was running like new! He only charged me a standard call out fee of $100!!!!! He could easily have charged me $5000 for new one, and I would not have known that the old one could be fixed.
I have used them 4 times now for various things and every time they have done a great job at a very reasonable price!

A great company to deal with. I needed a second opinion when another company said that my furnace was not worth fixing. The mechanic showed up on time; which I can't say for the "other" company; and checked over my furnace. He explained what was needed to properly repair it. The service manager contacted me with the pricing to make the repairs so I could make the best decision for me. Needless to say my "old" furnace is running like a charm. I will recommend to anyone that needs an honest opinion, backed up by great work to call these guys.
