Services
Both Milan and Josef were born and educated in Czechoslovakia. They worked eleven years for a large Edmonton construction company, each holding management positions, before forming Pemco Construction Ltd. Pemco Construction Ltd. is in its second generation of family ownership, and brothers Kevin and Jeffrey Lapes, are carrying the tradition of success into the future.
From conception to design, Pemco works with some very talented architects and interior designers to help you realize your dream. We have participated in the planning of many beautiful, efficient medical facilities, after school program premises, college offices, office layouts in major downtown Edmonton towers.
In a Construction Management (CM) contract, the Fee is established as a fixed amount or percentage. The CM works on a fixed fee or percentage fee basis with all of the construction savings being returned to the Owner. Beyond the fee, everything else is a cost of the work. As a result, the Construction Manager and the Owner share a common objective to get the best price, from the right contractor or supplier, for the cost of the work.

On budget, on time, and superior quality!
PEMCO built my 2400 sq ft medical clinic from design, navigating the engineering, bylaws and city permits, and all the other issues working in a building with other owners. I have done several other significant construction and renovation projects before, but before PEMCO, no general contractor was ever able to achieve or exceed all three expectations of budget, deadlines, and quality.
This was a very complex build out under pressure to achieve before my old lease expired. There were many issues in terms of how to deal with a medical HVAC system with
