Now that the dust has settled (literally and figuratively) on our new home, I wanted to write to you from our family.
Over two years ago we embarked on this journey to design and build on our property. It wasn’t a decision we took lightly, as we had lived in the 1926 house that stood there for nearly ten years. It no longer met our needs, however, and houses we did see at the time for sale were either out of our budget or poorly built.

I've worked on projects with Blackfish Homes for some years now and I continue to be amazed by the finished product... the end result is nothing but outstanding, and they make it look so seamless. Blackfish Homes took over a major renovation project from another contractor a few years ago. The first company made me feel very manipulated and, frankly, ripped off. Blackfish managed the project in a very hands on manner, often questioning my requests and offering better or less expensive options to my ideas. The interaction was excellent, the cost control very diligent and we ended up with a beautiful project that enabled us to sell our property at a nice profit. I would recommend this company without hesitation. Job well done!

The work speaks for itself. This is a company that manages to be recognized repeatedly by the Georgie Awards (produced by the Canadian Home Builders Association of British Columbia). Blackfish makes consistent meaningful inroads towards ethical and sustainable building utilizing a variety of Eco-friendly products and practices. Worst experience out of all the renovation companies. The tiles are broken so bad that water is leaking in between and leaking on the living room a floor down. We thought it was a plumbing issue but when the plumber cut the ceiling open where the leak was coming from he told us its from the tiles and the pipes are fine. Do not go to these guys !!!!
