Workers were polite, prepared, competent and cleaned up after themselves. They were knowledgeable and communicated well. The dispatcher was similarly inclined: brisk, but friendly and capable. Invoices delivered and payable on the spot.

as we have dealt with him only in the 11 years we have lived in our current home. Would certainly recommend Knowles Gas to anybody who would required service.

Have used the services of Miles Plumbing/Stan Knowles for many years--decades, in fact. I totally appreciate their fast response--even when plumbing services were in great demand. Miles plumbing has done extensive repair/replacement work both inside and outside of my home. They are ALWAYS professional, pleasant, patient and thorough. No job has had to be redone and the invoices reflect the quality of their work and professionalism. I always hope I will not have to use them again but if I do have a new issue, they will be the first company I contact.

Over the past 13 years we have had our Rinnai serviced and had a few repairs, although nothing too serious. This past call we had no hot water. They were excellent in getting us up and running quickly and the service man is always so friendly. I would recommend this first and foremost to anyone looking for a good plumber.

Miles Plumbing did a fabulous job servicing my gas furnace & gas fireplace. The serviceman was on time, so we were off to a great start! He had to go into a small space where the furnace was located on a hot summer day! He did a thorough service & then went on to do a great detailed service on the gas fireplace. And their fee was very decent!
I would highly recommend Miles Plumbing!

The worst possible customer service--STAY AWAY from them! My contractor and I hired Miles Plumbing to perform a perimeter drainage camera inspection at my house. The plumber arrived 1.5 hours later than scheduled without any warning or explanation, spent hours chatting on the job, and left the job unfinished--did not attach two downspouts (see pictures attached). I sent an email to Miles Plumbing requesting a discount for the delayed and unfinished service. After not receiving any response, I called their manager, Mary, to discuss the issue. These guys arrived to give me a quote on a large job and I was
not impressed with their lack of knowledge. They just couldn't seem
to pin down how they would do the job and they are supposed to be
experienced. I suspect it was a guise to make the job look more difficult
than it was in order to charge more or increase costs after giving a quote.
I got a quote from another company and they outlined how they would do the job and the cost.

Extremely disappointed with this company. We brought them in to do annual maintenance on the furnace in a home that has several suites we rent to a few families. When one of our tenants went to turn on the heat for the first time, eight days after Knowles was there for a full annual maintenance, the heat would not turn on. This family has young children and of course we wanted them to have heat. I sent a message to Knowles Gas (owned by Miles Plumbing), and they sent someone out to take a look. It turns out that the original guy who was there 8 days earlier, had not re-hooked up one of the tubes

Don't bother! Unreliable and poor customer service. I called to make an appointment for plumbing work. Window of time on a specific date was agreed and I had to take time away from work to be here for the plumber. During the window of time that the plumber should have arrived, I received a call from Miles to let me know the plumber would not show up and we had to rebook. The excuse was that there is never a guarantee that they will show up. This is the second time this happens with Miles. I took my business somewhere else.

I wanted my shower taps replaced because they were leaking inside the wall. I can do plumbing myself but don't have all the tools because I now live in a condo. The plumber arrives in the morning and did a bit of the work while the building water was off. He left for three hours and left the bathroom lights on. Then he came back, spent another half hour, and took his tools and left. I was annoyed but at least he did the job.
The tap and faucet was left in a state where it could wiggle around in the wall. After a year the wiggling got to me and I went to tighten it up which should just take

Knowledgable and technically proficient. But rude and indifferent. Billed me for an hour. Only worked for 45 minutes and then said he needed my visa. I had to pay for him to invoice me (took over 10 minutes to write up). And then left 5 minutes early. Is this normal? Plus I had to pay for his travel time.
I am not one to complain, but this guy was not happy at all. A waisted $144. I just wanted to get him off my property!!!

I talked to several companies and some of them promised me to call me back but didn't. I was desperate since I was in Vancouver and my tenant told me my newly purchased property was leaking. I was so worried. Then they called me back within an hour and fixed the problem within 15 mins. They will change me on Monday and we will see if their bill is reasonable by them but their prompt service is highly recommended.
