Excellent service. Had them come out a couple times - once to help clear out a clogged sewer line, and another to investigate other potential issues in our line.
Wouldn't hesitate to contact them again, they are now our go-to for plumbing services. Responsive, on time, professional, and did a great job.

I contacted Rather Be Plumbing to come and fix what the previous plumber had destroyed. They completed the job in one hour (which the other dummy took eight to mess up). We asked them to return the following week to take care of other plumbing issues. This time Brandon was quite creative in adapting parts to fix the problem. We'll also have them return to take care of perimeter drains in the near future.
I would highly recommend Rather Be Plumbing. They are professional, prompt and polite,. Two Thumbs Up for sure.

I had a good experience over-all with Brandon -- he was friendly and to-the-job! He got my bathroom sink unplugged, and showed me there are roots causing some blockage (I took a photo of the part of the snake that emerged with small roots tangled around it), and though I don't want investigation at present (will have to hold off until next year, budget-wise), I'm glad, for now, the sink is draining well.

My contractor recommended Rather Be Plumbing in the Summer. They did such a good job that first time around (finding a blockage in the sewer system), I have since hired them to repair a leak and change three hot water tanks (residence and two rental units). They are very prompt and efficient. Sara, their office admin person, seems to be able to materialize plumbers out of thin air when there is an emergency (and when else do you call a plumber!). I HIGHLY recommend them.

I phoned Rather be Plumbing early today and spoke with a very nice lady about my drain blockage situation in my tenant's suite. She said she would try to fit me in today and around 2pm Jace arrived and thoroughly checked out the bathroom drains and explained the steps needed to fix the problem. He was very pleasant to deal with and the price was much cheaper than I expected. I will definitely be calling them again with any future plumbing needs.

Sarah was very helpful on the phone and fit us in for a call on a busy day in a storm when we thought we had a plumbing emergency. Paulie came out quickly and tried to figure out where the water was coming from. He was knowledgeable about the on demand heating system and suggested some improvements. Although we still don’t know where the water came from ( roof , water pipe or heating)we can use the water and we have heat and will leave the ceiling open until we can figure it out. We will definitely use them again.

Jace was polite, friendly and efficient. He gave a thorough and honest assessment of what we needed and repaired our three toilets very quickly. He cleaned up after himself and the cost was below what we thought we would have to pay. We also appreciated the itemized invoice, which showed us exactly what the parts costs and his labour charges.

I called Rather be Plumbing for a hot water tank replacement. Paulie showed up promptly and was very kind, knowledgeable and helpful. He went above and beyond to make a stressful experience more positive and made me laugh while doing so. He gave honest and helpful advice and I was happy with the outcome. I would definitely use Rather be Plumbing in the future.

Rather Be Plumbing is excellent. I can't say enough great things about this company. We were in a real pinch and needed our hot water tank replaced. They were responsive and were able to book us in immediately due to a cancellation. The technician Paulie was fantastic. He took a look at our hot water tank and figured out the problem. We didn't even need to replace the tank. He was honest, helpful and explained to us what to do to prevent it from happening again. We had a previous technician come in early that morning and didn't even diagnose the problem and estimated the replacement to be double

We've had this company come out on three occasions now..I guess they are " my plumbers" now. I love not paying up front, and how timely my appointments are! Jason came through today with all kinds of pipe cutting, and hard work. Also, these guys are always tolerant of my eager dog, which I appreciate. I am really happy to have a plumbing company I can refer to a friend!

WOW unbelievable. After installing a heat regeister in my bathroom, the plumber mentioned that we need to put a filter on our 2 1/2 year old boiler system and said it would be a quick job costing $300, maybe $350. After aboiut 3 weeks Rather Be Plumbing called me saying they had some time and could they come and install the filter. I said sure come on over. After the installation the bill was over $1000. $800 for yhe part which cost only $380. A week late my whole heating system shut down. When I call Jarrod he sent over the plumber who called the manufacture and came to a conclusion that a part
