We reached out to three different vendors, and of the three, Mike quickly provided a quote and was able to manufacture the door to the exact specifications for an excellent price. While the door that arrived was exactly what we were expecting, (hence the 2 stars), the installation and follow up were very disappointing.
- Our hardwood floors near the front door have a slight discolour and scratches due to the glue/adhesive that the installers spilled on them while putting the door in. (Best part, when we were asking questions, neither installer understood us. English was not their first language, very odd sending out a team that doesn't have one individual who can converse on such a big project.)
- A fitting that was installed above the door is a totally different colour

My wife and I are beyond pleased with the new windows in our home, manufactured and installed by Smart Choice Window and Door Systems. The crew did stellar work over the two-day install and left our home in perfect condition. In our two-storey home, with the 38 year-old windows, we had always found that the upper floor was several degrees warmer than the main floor. With the new Smart Choice windows, the temperature differential, from main floor to second floor, is now barely noticeable. The upper floor bedrooms now stay cooler, without cranking up the AC, and the only change was the new windows

Our experience with Smart Choice Window & Door Systems was more than satisfactory from start to finish. We were given good advice, the installers were polite and respectful, and their work was excellent. Our neighbors, watching the installation from across the road, also remarked on what a great company Smart Choice Windows seems to be and how wonderful the windows look.

Very rude receptionist. They made a mistake on their end regarding what day and time the appointment was. After waiting over 30mins for the rep to arrive I called the office to find out what was up. The receptionist was rude and flip., even suggesting it was my fault. Even though the time they had on their end is never an available day or time for me. She said she had tried to reach me but there were no messages on my landline or cell. Total waste of my time. Crappy customer service. I'll go elsewhere. Lucky for me there are a lot of window and door outfits to choose from.

I had french doors leading to a balcony in my bedroom damaged and broken. Smart Choice came out within an hour of my call and and assured me I would have new doors custom fit within in a week. They delivered! My double doors are fantastic and the staff were were amazing. I appreciate their professionalism and willingness to discuss options. I will be a repeat customer this spring for new windows!
