The installation guarantee is meaningless, they literally told me it would only apply if the material itself was 'falling apart' which I think would be hard for flooring to do within a year. I was pressured to pay a lot extra for a glue down floor rather than a floating one, but the glue hasn't kept it attached so I now have a floating floor that is especially obvious in summer with the humidity, despite paying over $1000 more to have it glued down. I found Peter the sales person flippant when I tried to complain (when he phoned and I asked who it was he said 'Donald Trump'). and the owner was

We had the best experience and result with Allan Rugs. We needed a very fast turnaround time and a high quality product and install within a few days. We worked with David Martucci at the store, and Steven was our installer... unbelievable guys. We literally picked our runner and had it installed within 4 days. Highly, highly recommend.

The initial appointment and carpet selection was very easy. However, problems arose during installation. From our very first appointment when we selected the carpet, we were vocal that we had an Ikea wardrobe in the bedroom that we could not disassemble or move out of one of the bedrooms to be carpeted. We were assured it would not be an issue. Then we had someone come in to measure who saw the wardrobe in person and also assured us there would be no issue. When the installers arrived, they told us they could not move it and were ready to leave without doing the job at all. After some talking,

Wow. What service. Lexi McShea for queen. She went out of her way on several occasions to research, track down, measure, forward information and assist in every way she could to try to help transform our nightmare renovation (aren’t they all?) into a dream. The engineered hardwood flooring is fabulous and I now love marmoleum, especially the feel of it on bare feet over a heated floor. As I said, “Wow.” Thank you Allen Rug Company. Allan Rug Stands behind their product 100%. I had carpet installed three years ago that didn't stand up. I was reluctant to call as it had been some time however they came and inspect and are replacing the carpet in September. Jason was and is a pleasure to work with. I was very happy with our installers, Petro and Anna as well as Beverly Bender who facilitated our order, however, I will never use this company again due to the misogynistic rudeness of Robert, one of the owners, or at least one of the sons of the original owner.
It is "company policy" to run the remainder of a fee through before sending the installers out on a job. Robert called early in the morning to inform me that our Visa had been declined. Good quality products and a big range of carpets, knowledgeable and helpful sales staff. But the installation is something else. Installer left long deep knife marks on all four sides of the baseboards. My apartment was recently renovated so these deep cuts are very obvious. Nails can be felt underfoot and carpet cut along the floor vents are not clean and lack craftsmanship. Called the shop to complain about the installation to which they really didn't care. Felt like they weren't too bothered about customer satisfaction or craftsmanship since they had made their sale already.

I can't say enough about how great my experience was with Allan Rug. I was preparing my house for sale and wanted to spruce up my carpeting. Hanni made choosing the rug an easy task, without breaking my budget.
The crew was even better than I had hoped. They moved a lot more of my furniture than I'm sure they wanted but did so with fantastic attitude and offered to help move some things beyond their scope just to make my life easier. What could have been a very stressful time for me was actually a pleasant experience. Now that's something!
