Wright Construction Western Inc. has been operating in Saskatchewan since 1905 with projects ranging from British Columbia to Ontario. We represent the longest operating construction company in the Province of Saskatchewan and in the City of Saskatoon. Wright Construction performs General Contracting, Design Build, Public-Private Partnerships (P3s) and Construction Management services.

Wright excels in a variety of commercial, institutional, mixed use and industrial environments. Each year we complete hundreds of thousands of square feet of retail space for various developers and retail chains. Wright is a strong competitor in the institutional sector providing services to school and health boards across Saskatchewan and Alberta.

Services
General contracting services are traditionally provided under a design-bid-build model. The owner has engaged a consulting team to design their project and through a negotiation or tendering process has selected a general contractor to perform the work utilizing a lump sum contract. When an owner engages a construction manager, there is an expectation of expertise and collaboration.
This role is responsible for assisting the Apprentices and Journeypersons on our job sites. This includes but is not limited to constructing and maintaining institutional, commercial, and industrial buildings. Perform other related duties as assigned, including minor duties of other trades as long as the work does not exceed own limitations.
Project managers ensure that a project is completed on time and within budget, that the project's objectives are met. Project managers oversee the project to ensure the desired result is achieved, the most efficient resources are used and the different interests involved are satisfied. This position interacts with sub-contractors, superintendents, owners, and consultants on a day-to-day basis.
This role provides supervision of day to day duties, offers coaching/mentorship, provides leadership in aspects of the defined core responsibilities. Manage all aspects of the Wright Construction safety program with the support of the Assistant Superintendent, Site Coordinator and Safety Officer. Establish daily hazard analysis prior to work commencement and ensure that Assistant Supervisor and Foreman promote safe work procedures.
