I purchased a new home and the furnance system was built by them. They put an 16inch fliter into my 12inch slot. they just wrapped and squeez it in. the furnance has been running like that for months until I find the problem. The guy refuse to come and make a complete check for my sytem.

I called KC Plumbing sometime between January 12th and 19th with several problems. I have used KC for many years including some major work and while Corey was there we had excellent service. I mentioned this to the person I spoke to but also said the service had not been as good the last time we had work done. I described in detail what needed to be done and sent photographs so the parts could be brought and the work done. From the owner down to every employee, this is a really nice group of people . We lived above their shop and were very lucky to have them around. They fixed our shower (hours of work) & other plumbing issues in the building and wouldn’t accept any money. This is a successful company that clearly thrives off hard work & integrity . They appear and act professional but their estimate they quoted was well over double (into four figures estimate) what I eventually paid another plumber. When they did bill for their "Free Estimates", they again tried to bill three hours when they spent less than one. They can easily star in a CBC Marketplace bust. Very bad experience and my advise would to just pass on these guys.

I have being using KC's Plumbing for the past 15 years and there is no one I trust more for my plumbing and Heating than KCs. In the past, KC's have been to my house for a water leak, gas pipe install, toilet repair and install and all of which I've never had a problem or had them come back again! they were all fixed right the first time. I recently had my first experience of a major repair when my service line burst on me! a very stressful situation for me and my family. They helped me through the whole process. We have used KC's at least 3 times now. In our old condo for two issues (one which was a shower replacement due to leak and another which was the garburator) and again in our new place when our unit's heating wouldn't turn off.
Each time they've been punctual, courteous, and solved our problem. Back in our old place they were working on something the day I had our new dishwasher delivered. The delivery person said that it wouldn't fit and left me with it telling me I would have to call to get it picked up. The plumber who happened to be solving the shower issue stepped

KC's handled my furnace issue incompetently, with potentially serious carbon monoxide implications. All they want is their money for multiple service calls that didn't fix my furnace where they didn't check carbon monoxide levels.

My parent's hot water tank needed to be replaced, so I headed onto Yelp to look for a place and decided on KC Plumbing because of their fantastic review scores. Servicing things like your hot water tank and furnace aren't exactly regularly occurring things, so user experience reviews play a huge role in who I decide to go with.

From the quote to the insulation- they were very professional. They sent a quote by email. 2 guys came over to change our water tank, they were very friendly, Knew exactly what to do. They took away the old tank as well as secure the new one to the earth quick standards. Everything was done in 2-3 hours, The invoice was as quoted. Highly recommend them.

We had a broken toilet and spent weeks trying to find a plumber that would even show up. I found KC's on Yelp and it was a completely different experience. I submitted a web form, got a call back when they opened to arrange an appointment and confirm the issue, and they provided a clear summary of costs to expect. The serviceman who showed up at the house was super polite, resolved the issue, and was professional. We would definitely use KC's Plumbing again.

The best experience I could have had. I had a leak in my ceiling on boxing day this year and called KC's. The technician walked me through how to make sure the leak had stopped and stop any further leaking over the phone, preventing a very costly home visit.
When they came out a couple days later they were fast, efficient, friendly, and complete. Gave me all sorts of tips on things I could do myself, and not only fixed the bathtub leak, but future-proofed the toilet. He pointed out a few potential issues, and gave us tips on neat renovations we could do with our existing plumbing.

I am so disappointed in KC Plumbing! While the plumber did a fine job they charged more than they quoted and were very late in invoicing.
I called twice in advance of moving forward with KC Plumbing to review the work that I needed done and I was told that I would be charged a rate of $85/hour. I was told that one plumber would do the work. They ended up sending a plumber and his apprentice. Then they charged me for the apprentice's work.
Classic scam artist play.
My husband was at the house the whole time and said that only one plumber did work. The other fellow just watched and asked

Plumber Jeff was friendly and patient with my mom, who doesn't speak English very well. Also conscientious about avoiding any unnecessary costs by pointing out costs and alternative procedures.
HOWEVER -- 1.5 hour minimum charge, so it's better to call them only for more serious issues. If it turns out to be a short job, you're still gonna be billed for 90 mins.
ALSO -- There is a standard $15 "enviro fee" charge which "covers everything from gas, drop cloths, gloves, booties, and teflon tape".

I had a clogged bathtub and sink. I tried to fix it myself and made it worse.
The staff members I spoke with on the phone were kind and concise with the initial quote.
The plummer, Craig, and his helper, Chris, were very nice and respectful. They showed up in very good time and finished just as quickly. They explained to me the problem and how it was fixed with detail. They made a small mess and cleaned it. The invoice was well broken down.
I will use KC Plumming again.

To start with, KC's never came into my house. However, two weeks ago I found a leak in my house and contacted them to come and help. Before they were about to come out, they called ahead to see if I had found the source of the issue yet (which I had). They advised me what I could do myself, and talked me through the solution instead of coming out and charging me for what turned out to be a relatively small issue.
Great service and friendly people, doing the best for their clients (even when not paying ones :)).

We had a backed up garbage disposal that I attempted to fix myself, which did not go well. In the end I ended up cracking a pipe under the sink. We found K C's Plumbing on Yelp and called fully expecting that it would led be a couple of days before they could come out. Fortunately they had a same day opening.
The plumber arrived on time, was friendly, efficient and tidy. In no time at all he had cleared the clog, removed the garbage disposal, cleaned up after himself and was on his way. I also found their pricing extremely reasonable.

I contacted KC's Plumbing on the basis of the great Yelp reviews and was very, very disappointed (it was early in 2015, sorry to take some time to get to this review). I had an apartment with leaks from, around or behind the taps in 2 bathtub/showers. They sent a younger plumber who was clearly way out of his depth in terms of diagnosing and repairing the problem. The issue was that the taps were installed incorrectly in the past to get around the fact that an additional layer of tile had been installed on top of the original on the walls and thus the copper piping sticking out of the wall

We had K.C. Plumbing and Heating out to deal with our hot water heater that started leaking one morning last week. As fate would have it, it was on a Saturday, right in the middle of the Victoria Day weekend. The gentleman who was on emergency duty was very professional.
