Westcott Concrete was founded in 2012 by Chris Mailloux. Chris learned the concrete/construction trade by working for an independant company for many years. In 2014 Sam Bazzi joined Chris in ownership of the company, and began to build Westcott Concrete in to a large local brand. Together Chris and Sam have a myriad of skills that constantly push the boundaries of concrete, and construction.
Here at Westcott Concrete we specialize in all forms of concrete. Patios, sidewalks, retaining walls, portches, driveways, basement floors and more! I hired Sam to redo my concrete. This involved the demo as well. I was very happy with the final product. Also, he was responsive and fielded any questions I had. Some weeks, I called multiple times - not once did he seem inconvenienced. Furthermore, he honoured timelines. If there was a change of plans, I was notified. As a customer, the communication component is key. I have and would recommend Sam.

Positive: Quality, Value
While the fallout from the Covid shutdowns did delay the completion of this job from Spring to mid-Summer, the final results are beautiful. Especially like the rosette finish. Great improvement to my home's curb appeal. Finally having a concrete driveway will be much enjoyed and appreciated this coming winter.

Westscott concrete was very accommodating to our needs. We had a concrete porch replaced and a newer concrete driveway poured. Both Chris and Sam answered all our questions and were very willing to make the changes we asked for when prepping the forms once we saw opportunities to some design changes. Their initial prep work and grading was coordinated very efficiently and timely. They acted very professionally throughout the process and always responded to questions via text or phone messages in a timely manner. The quality of their workmanship was superb, as many of our neighbours and friends

I highly recommend Westcott Concrete and will definitely be using them again. Sam was very prompt in responding, being available for any questions that I had and explaining thoroughly the process and the work timeline. Sam is a great salesman. He was very responsive in the beginning. Once the job was completed, not so much. I ended up agreeing on a cash price for Westcott to do the driveway, the approach from the road to the drive which was to be done in recycled asphalt from a different company and to dig up around the front of the house and waterproof the foundation. Sam told me that it was my responsibility to get the utility locates done. Which I did but took longer to complete since I was unfamiliar with the process.

Sam and his crew seemed to be trustworthy at first until I had issues with cracking in front of my step. One season later and this is what my front step looks like (see pictures). When I brought this to their attention, Sam said they would come back and resolve but never showed up. After 6 months of repeated attempts to schedule the repair, Sam has now decided not to respond to my calls/texts. Very poor customer service. Would not recommend Westcott to anyone.
