We hired Tara Construction to construct a new wall in a unit of a condo building. They were the only ones who gave a professional quote and even had concerns about the levels and had a consultation with an engineer so we knew we were doing the right amount of restoration etc. A pleasure to work with and I will be referring new business clients to them. Nothing but positive things to say about Ian @ Tara Construction. My wife and I wanted a non-load bearing wall removed from our kitchen, as part of our kitchen renovations. I reached out for a quote and within the day he had stopped by our house for a site visit. A couple weeks later, the job was done.
Ian is efficient, incredibly responsive to questions in the lead up to the project start date and during the project, transparent about the work that's required, and was willing to put in extra effort to ensure we were satisfied. We will be getting quotes from Ian for any future renovations or repairs

Ian was great to deal with - he told me how long the work would take when he would be available. Everything happened on schedule. We are working from home but he and his crew were great at containing the mess being as unobtrusive as possible. The finished product looks great - we had some t-bar, ceiling tiles and new pot lights put in our basement as well as some drywall repaired. The price was very reasonable for how many hours of work they put in. Will definitely call Ian for my next project!

Ian and Usline were amazing. Ian stuck to the start date he estimated almost 2 months ahead to the day, was very professional, friendly, and adaptable. He really listened to our ideas and concerns and provided useful and professional advice to help us make important decisions. The work quality was superb, especially given our challenging 110 year old house. He walked us through the whole process ahead of time and ensured we were aware of the potential changes to scope that could come up depending on what he found once he started opening up walls. About 5 months ago, i bought a house as my family started to grow. On budget, It needed quite a bit of renovation: The kitchen, the main bathroom and the basement bathroom. I was searching for a contractor to save the day. Ian took the responsibility for me to complete the full kitchen renovation so that me and my wife have a smooth transition from our apartment to my very first home. He is honest and on time. We have a small condo in Marda Loop and occasionally we have some small jobs that we can't do ourselves. I contacted Ian for a quote to replace three vent covers and he made time to visit the site and provide a quote within a day. He listened to what we needed done and asked clarifying questions to indicate that he understood the scope of the job. Once the quote was received and accepted Ian was flexible in scheduling and quick to come by and complete the job.
