Jaytech Plumbing started in 2009 and was founded by Mike Vandergaag & Thomas Riemersma. In early 2012 expansion took place and Grand River Plumbing was bought out. Shortly after this expansion more man power was needed along with company vehicles. We have now been in operation for 6+ years and currently have eight great employees.
Our approach to serving your construction or contracting company is unique and an approach that is largely beneficial. In short our vision for how to aid in adding value and help grow your corporation is what sets us apart. Great plumbing is just one of the results of our vision and values. Doing this in Ontario is our current focus.
Backflow prevention devices are required annually by cities in order to protect our drinking water. Cross-Connection Control (CCC) surveys are required every 5 years. They are used to identify where, if any, backflow prevention devices are required. They are to be conducted by a OWWA (Ontario Water Works Association) accredited tester.
Having a drain or sewer back-up can be a real headache. Overflow in a finished living area can also be quite damaging and costly. Having the right tools and equipment along with the right techniques is important to avoid problems and assure drains are start flowing properly. In my experience Jaytech was everything we'd like from service providers, especially listening, and talking through possibilities.
Eric and James did excellent work, far beyond the prior plumbers, and fully solved the venting conundrum here.
As well as having a no-nonsense get to work attitude, noticing other issues, and pricing fairly.
Oh, and cleaning up afterwards.

After a few unpleasant experiences with Reliance and in a desperate situation to fix the house shut off valve for other work to be done, I called Jaytec. Within an hour, Steve scheduled Eric to come by and within a half hour the job was done. Eric was smart, professional and took the time to do the job 'right' at a price half of what that other company estimated. We had a new water softener installed and the process from start to finish was painless! Steve and Eric were FANTASTIC! Very personable, on time, efficient, and even took time at the end to sweep up and ensure the space was left clean. Will be using JayTech for all our plumbing needs from now on!

I just had Eric out to my home and couldn't be more happy with the service provided. I thought we were looking at a huge issue with the plumbing behind my shower wall but Eric very quickly diagnosed the problem to be much more simple than that and proceeded to fix it on the spot. He was professional, efficient and put my mind at ease right away. He was up front about the fees and it cost exactly what was quoted. I will definitely recommend Jaytech to anyone that needs a plumber.

In the last few years, we have started to use Jaytech Plumbing to help us out. They have fixed many issues - broken water pipes and drains in our basement, main toilet repairs, as well as fixing a major water leak in our basement. For this issue, they had to investigate the source, and then dig up our floor - which sounds worse than it actually was because they are competent, and they just took care of everything. Called Jaytech plumbing because I was having some issues with hot water consistency. They showed up exactly when they said they would, quoted the job reasonably and finished within the hour. Final invoice was exactly as quoted.
