Sherwood flooring did a wonderful job on our home in Sherwood Park some years ago but since then is another story. Three years ago I asked them to floor our entire condo that we had just moved into. All went well until summer heat caused wood to swell and every inch of our floors creaked. For three years now we have gone back and forth trying to get something done. To everyone who reads this review I have two tips to make sure this does not happen to you. First off make sure your flooring is acclimatized for at least three days. I was told by Sherwood Flooring that it would be fine to get started

I honestly thought we were getting a good flooring Company. Finally, after we had to jump a few hoops we waited the full 3 weeks for our carpet. The installers were on time which was good but one of them refused to wear his mask. I tried to contact Alyssha to get a hold of him but no answer or call. Bill did come early in the install to do a… few fixes on the stair. I asked the installer to wear a mask, he refused. Said he could not breathe properly. It seemed everything was fine. But at the end of the evening we discovered we could not shut our bedroom door. After half an hour of the installers

As others have stated, bill was very easy to work with and he even suggested ways on how we can save money. I like how they have a good selection of materials to fit our budget.
We just had carpet installed a few days and I'm very happy with the installation. The installers completed the work in a timely manner.

Bill is probably one of the most personable people this world has to offer, Alyssa was amazing to deal with, did an amazing job helping me cut costs as she knew I was on a tighter budget but wanted some quality in that budget. I told her no carpet, NONE! She told me the cost difference on stairs between Vinyl/carpet and brought up the fact that I have a senior dog that would appreciate carpet on the stairs and I probably would too. Alyssa's attention to detail is second to none. Despite being very busy she was always on top of keeping me informed

Sherwood Flooring recently replaced carpets in three bedrooms with luxury vynl in our home. The process was seamless from the beginning to the end. They did what they said they would do, they stayed within our budget and we are delighted with the end result. Mo was our fitter, he was a pleasure to have in our home, he turned up on time and worked around our busy family to complete the work over two days as we requested. I highly recommend these guys, so pleased we chose local we would not hesitate in using them again.

I love this store, I love working with them because they make you feel very comfortable. This is my third time purchasing floor from them, and I used their installers twice. When they came in to do the job, they moved all the furniture out of the way to do the floor. Bill is amazing with the deadlines and Alyssa is such a great person and she is very friendly. At the last minute, we decided to switch colours and she didn’t hesitate to help to make the process smooth. I HIGHLY recommend them for their professionalism, honesty and the way they respect and treat their customers like family.

I had a whole house renovation done, including new flooring on two levels. The entire experience was very pleasant, from Bill coming out to take measurements, to Alyssa helping coordinate things. Bess, Matt and Arturo did a great job on the flooring installation. Arturo really knows his stuff and was able to make sure that everything fit with no transitions needed between rooms. I'm so happy with how everything turned out. I would definitely recommend Sherwood Flooring.

I truly hope others think twice about this company. They are by far the least professional company and or people I've ever dealt with. Don't allow first impressions to fool you. The initial presentation, that of being kind and humorous, quickly turn into lies and deceit. A project that was supposed to take 3-4 days, took well over 7, spanning over a few months. Poor communication, poor follow up. Lack of response to questions. Get ready to chase them down for answers. The work done was sub-par to say the least. Parts of the job were absolutely horrible. Bill the owner came by and did our measurements. While he was doing the measuring all he talked about was how they have a group of companies that all network together. Then he said he's not the installer, that another installer would be phoning my wife for an estimate. That was 10 days ago. In the meantime my wife phoned Sherwood Flooring twice and no call backs. I found Bill to be arrogant and condescending. Finally went to their office to complain. Complained to the receptionist. Still no phone call from an installer. Lots of other installers in the area. Funny thing if everything worked

Went in to get some advice on a new floor and ending up buying flooring right there! They were so helpful and knowledgeable in the field. Very friendly staff with a laid back but still professional environment! I didn’t feel forced into buying anything they took my budget and gave me many options! GO ELSEWHERE! They installed flooring for our entire house (carpet, tile and LVT). LVT edges started curling and not laying flat. Within weeks almost every room had multiple pieces not laying flat. After months and months of calls and emails they finally came back to fix. They tried to glue the pieces back down. Twice they tried this but nothing has worked. The owner Bill agreed to replace the pieces that were lifting but now again they have stopped answering or returning my calls and emails and it has been months. I'm left with edges that are curled up and look bad. They definitely do
