Services
Established in 1988, Doors and Things began by selling and installing Stanley overhead doors. Recognizing the need for custom packages, we began painting each door with automotive paint to suit each customer's specific needs. When Stanley shut down its garage door division in the early 90's, Doors and Things became one of the first dealer for Garaga insulated sectional doors in the area two years prior to them opening their new plant.
We also guarantee a great colour match. We buy aluminum from several different manufacturers including Gentek, Kaycan, & Buckner to find the best possible combination. Match your door face, soffit and fascia, siding, or windows - whatever you think looks best. Complete the look of a finished garage with backframe cladding.
Replacement parts are available for your garage door system, as are accessories to enhance its look. We can supply you with what you are looking for, regardless of the brand of your garage door or your opener. Some parts of your garage door system you can change yourself. However, for your safety and that of your loved ones, several parts, like springs, must be changed by an experienced garage door technician.

Dealing with Don and his crew was a great experience. Although Mrs. C was not on site the day of the installation, Mr. C. was very pleased with everything done. Don Jones and his sons are consummate professionals who know their business and display a special pride in their workmanship. In less than 5 hours they had my tired old garage doors removed, and the new ones, complete with remote controls and lighting, installed, tested and working. They also took time to explain how every safety device works and how to operate the various controls. The product itself seems to be well made and should provide many years of reliable service.

I cannot express enough how pleased I was to come home to my new garage door. It was everything I was looking for. it is difficult sometime to image a piece of paper image could look so good! Not only was it pretty from the curb. When I opened the entrance from the inside of the house to the garage I was surprised to find the light from the new garage door was on a sensor. Bob and his worker had also returned my snow blower and other things that had to be removed from the garage for installation was returned in orderly way. I shouldn't have been so surprised as I have been dealing with Don since
