Started in 1966, Progress Glass is a second generation business located in Spruce Grove and Edmonton. Progress Glass is owned by brothers Vince and Clay Shinbine. Our Spruce Grove location is run by Vince and works on mostly auto and residential glass. We also do some commercial glasswork, including storefronts.

We tried to rent a U-haul from this location and the owner was very rude and disrespectful. She made sure we were aware she was the owner. She accused us of filling the information wrong on the online services and we never used the on line service. She insisted I needed a name of a person when I suggested my husband she said no someone who wasn't with me? He was not going to be in the u-haul? When I told her I had no other family she said I guess a friend then in sarcasm? Wow she was short, rude and disrespectful. 👎👎

If I could give a ZERO star I would. The lady owner whom answers the phone is very rude and if you speak any way firm she hangs up on you. She snaps at you from the moment you call for a quote, asks the year of vehicle several time ( write it down if your brain is the size of a pea!) and when you clarify what it is your quoting for the 10th time irritated, she just hangs up.
When we called for quote on our vehicle mirror realize we didn't realize it was the same place my husband rented a uhaul trailer a couple months prior. Same situation with this lady. Very argumentative and threatening

The people who run this business are beyond rude and have no clue how to run their business. They freaked out when we brought our uhaul back they refused to give our deposit back and became very rude. I would not deal with these "people" ever again if my life depended on it. Very poor service and extremely terrible customer service!!

Had a great experience at Progress Glass & Uhaul. I have been a loyal customer with this small family run business for years and I have always had great service. They are always so kind and welcoming and make you feel like part of the family.
Being a longtime customer I occasionally noticed some customers, especially uhaul customers walk in immediately angry, yelling, demanding, with little patience and just act completely rude. If you treat people that way how do you expect to be treated back? All of you need a reality check and learn how to respect one another.

I only called for a quote. Very unprofessional on the phone (When asked how are you today the receptionists reply was I'm putting you on hold). I was transfered 3 times and put on hold 5. While on hold I was able to call 3 other glass stores from my house line and was quoted much faster and spoken to much nicer. I never received the quote from Progress Glass. If they can't quote me, how would they do the job right?
