We were very impressed with this company from the initial quote by Bernie to the finished job by installers Josh and Frank. This was a complicated job undoing previous shoddy renos. Josh and Frank handled the job professionally with the finished job looking great! Importantly we found their presence in our home to be a positive experience because of their camaraderie and ability to easily meet unexpected challenges.

We purchased Milgard windows and doors from SB for our new home. Expensive but beautiful however we found the salesperson rather flippant and almost arrogant. One pair of exterior wooden doors to our deck from our dining room soon separated from weathering and were replaced at no cost to us by our builder however the next set also separated. We then were informed by SB we should have weather-proof exterior doors in that exposed location so we ordered those and had them installed at significant cost to us. We wish SB would have sent out one of their staff to our new house build to assess our needs

We asked for windows that would qualify for the government rebate (specific rating for keeping heat in) and after spending 18K found we didn't qualify AND many of our windows collect condensation along the lower 1/4 of the indoor panes. We are so disappointed knowing that much of our heat is escaping out the windows. We had to spend another 11K for cellular blinds to help keep heat in our house. Be careful what you order, don't trust that you are getting the correct product. We also had to wait a number of months as the first order of windows were measured incorrectly and they had to order new
