My husband and I have built multiple homes and have used may different window and door companies in the past.
I can confidently say that going forward with our builds there will only ever be one option when it comes to windows/doors.
We were blown away with the service, instal, lack of complexity and extreme professionalism that we encountered with anyone and everyone who was affiliated with Ridley. I would HIGHLY recommend.

Fro start to finish this was the best experience I think i have ever had with a company. Everyone involved was nothing but helpful, easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. Everything that was promised was delivered to perfection. The quality is excellent and the instal was smooth and easy. We are beyond pleased and would recommend Ridley to whoever is in need of doors and windows. So happy to have chosen them for our home!

Beware -- the quality has gone downhill! We had a Norwood double french door installed in February as part of a renovation, and it has been a total disappointment. We specifically went with Ridley because we bought 2 similar doors from them 10 years ago and they are great.....but wow have things changed! The installation was a disaster because of a complete lack of communication from the sales team to the installer. When the door was finally installed, the doors had a large gap between the two doors and were so poorly aligned that we had to push and twist to get the latches to catch. Now things

Well....deplorable customer service install, product. Had 2 sliding doors installed 2 years ago. They leak, they freeze, they don't keep the cold out. Have had probably a dozen people come out to repair, nothing. They promised me new doors, nothing. A call back would be nice from Marlene or David. Well let's see, David PROMISES, he also blames his staff but doesnt call back himself. I want my money back and I never want to see or hear from this company again...they are theives.

My new screen door was not closing completely and needed extra force to completely latch closed. Discussed this problem and thought maybe new smaller weatherstripping. When Mauritzio arrive he assessed the door closing problem. Checked the striker plate for proper alignment. Checked the clearance of the weatherstrip with proper clearances. He adjusted the tension on the door closer. Now the screen door closes with enough force too full close and latch.

Very unprofessional.They were contracted to install windows and caulking was missed on the inside of the building.I lease the building so when the landlord lets them in they
1) stand on the toilet seat with wet boots and don't clean it up
2) dump fasteners out of a container of mine and use it for something
3) break a washroom mirror
4) stand on hand towels
Basically when they make a mess they leave it!
Watch them closely

If it was possible to rate the installers lower I would. A job that should have taken 3 days dragged on for months. A complete joke. It seemed like they had no idea what they were doing. Windows hung out of plum with not enough fasteners, trim not properly installed, they didn't want to use the trim that came with the windows because they didn't have the right equipment with them to cut it. Endless excuses about why they couldn't do a proper job. I've never seen such poor workmanship from guys that were supposed to be professionals.

Just saw a black VW with the Ridley Windows sticker on the rear windshield intentionally SPEED UP to block the driver on the right lane trying to come into the left lane to avoid hitting a parked car. Right lane car could’ve easily merged in as he was ahead of everyone else. He was trying to cause an accident.
I know this isn’t a window installation review but personally I’d steer clear from people like this.

The true test of any company is the after sales service. I can say I’m very disappointed in Ridley and so will you. In the showroom they will promise you the world in ensuring you are happy and that any concerns will be addressed. Well, they will....for a price. We had wood windows installed and after a few years we noticed an unbelievable draft and outside noise coming through as if the windows were open.
We placed a warranty call and found out that there was $125 plus HST to have a service person attend and tell us that we are missing some “snubbers”. Ridley windows had the audacity to

I have had plenty of good and bad experiences with many contractors and suppliers. I have never posted a review before, but I feel like this one was necessary to inform others considering Ridley Window and door.
I am a contractor in a small community, and our focus is custom lake side cottages and homes.
There is nothing I am posting here that I have not told directly to Ridley windows and doors.
I have no window quality issues, they were exactly what myself and the client expected.
There were unnecessary mistakes with window sizes on delivery, but easily fixable if it gets the attention required
